We had a wonderful Christmas time in Scheffau and spent our 2024 celebration in this fantastic, idyllic cottage. Bernhard and his family were very friendly and even set up a lovingly decorated Christmas tree for us! On New Year's Eve, they provided us with a fire pit. The house was clean and well maintained, with authentic décor and stunning mountain views. The small stream next door provided a relaxing atmosphere. The ski and toboggan areas are just a stone's throw away, which our children enjoyed immensely! A highlight was the swimming pool with sauna area, only 15 minutes away, ideal for relaxing after a day in the snow. Bernhard also gave us many tips for excursions that enriched our stay. Overall it was a perfect family vacation and we highly recommend this vacation home! We look forward to our next visit!

The house is huge (as the host’s heart!) , fully equipped; the place located within up to 1 hour from most points of interest; we very enjoyed our stay at Barth’s house! Very recommended.

Our family of 5 met with my brother's family of 5 here in Kuchl for a week holiday. Daniela's home was very nice. Plenty of space, nice outdoor area, everything the kids could want for fun. Our kids ranged from 1.5 yrs to 12. unfortunately the weather was rainy and colder than we expected, but we still had a great time. we visited Salzburg, the salt mine, thermal baths, and on sunny days enjoyed hiking and toboggan. supermarket 5 minutes away. kitchen had everything we needed, and the kids enjoyed feeding the chickens, ducks, and cats. We'd recommend it to others especially with kids.

Konrad's home is very private and peaceful. Great location to explore Salzburg, Werfen and Berchtesgaden. The home is very comfortable and is accurately described. There is plenty of space for the whole family. Konrad is very quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommended and we hope to return during ski season as the lifts are just behind the house.

Had a very nice days, the hospitality the cleanliness everything very great! I highly recommend it to people, top location the friendliness of the hosts just great, always there when questions were other. Recommended apartment! Very nice apartment, very well equipped and tastefully furnished. Drinks and milk in the fridge to welcome us was very attentive, thank you! However, the access to a private bathing area mentioned in the listing is not available.

We arrived at night, and the drive in the dark was quite thrilling. The next day, we were greeted by breathtaking views! The host welcomed us warmly and provided some extra supplies.

Very quiet apartment. Well furnished spaces and equipped with every comfort. Location ideal for walking. Keep in mind a little longer travel time due to its unique location on the alm, apartment accessible via well-maintained and gravel paved forest road.

We had a wonderful stay here for 4 nights. The place is big, clean and very nicely decorated. Great if you’re traveling with a dog. Easy access by bus to Salzburg and surrounding areas. We would definitely stay here again.

a very clean, pleasant home. perfect location and home for a family vacation with a large group. everything is tip top in order. Robert is a very friendly and polite host. We immediately got a warm and homely feeling upon arrival. Definitely recommended!

Roman's house is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and warm. It has three levels, three large bedrooms, with empty furniture for storage, two bedrooms share a balcony, there are three bathrooms, a desk, a pantry with many and varied appliances, lots of kitchenware, several board games, it's ideal. The indoor pool area has an indoor mini garden, with tables and sun loungers. We received the house impeccably clean, it has everything you need and more! We went for Christmas and they even provided us with cookie cutters. The setting is beautiful, the views are incredible, we had cows and even neighboring horses. The house has a terrace with an outdoor dining area, two sleds and next to a hill where we slid in the snow. (It's almost the patio of the house). Ladau is a 20-minute drive from Salzburg, with quick and easy connections. Thanks Roman, we enjoyed your home. We'll be back

Beautiful, very old farmhouse located at the end of the place yet central. Shopping, hiking and ski resort are within easy reach. The place was equipped with far more than stated in the description. The host family was very nice and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy. There were nine of us in the house and there would have been more space. Due to the two bathrooms, the stay also works very well with a larger group. Towels, sheets and basic amenities in the kitchen as well as firewood for the fireplace - everything was provided.

The house was cozy, and the little touches—like fresh towels, bathroom amenities , and local recommendations—made it feel extra special. The location was perfect—close to local attractions, yet quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep. Joy was a fantastic host, always quick to respond and so thoughtful in making sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Great location, the underfloor heating in the bathrooms is nice after a day skying, the rooms are nice size. The internet however is almost never working and there is no tv in the living room. The beds all have tv. No washing machine and no launderette nearby, however, the host offered us the possibility to use her personal one. There is a ski boot drier which is a nice touch, bbq and a lovely table outside

We had a very pleasant stay: perfect weather, great skiing and last but not least a very nice and comforatable accomodation.

We felt very comfortable. The house is perfect for a family with dog.

This house was so beautiful and my family members spent a hilarious and peacefule time in here. Everything was perfect. I'll stay here again if I back to Gmunden. Thanks to Anna.
