Vacation rentals with a pool in Halifax County

This is a beautiful home on the lake. There’s so much attention to detail. It has worked perfectly for me and my corgi while I worked at ECU Health North hospital.

The Stowe Away was the perfect gathering place for our Air Force Charleston Crew! We felt right at home, and Dorothy was the most perfect and gracious host. We are looking forward to staying at “The Stowe Away” again in the near future!

We adored our stay here. My daughter is autistic, she gets very stressed with changes when we go on vacation. The smells and “feeling” of a house often dictate how comfortable she can be. She often will refuse to eat when we travel because of the smells. Well she was ravenous at this house. Let me just tell you this house instantly felt like our home. She was relaxed the whole time, our family of 4 and dog had the most fun. Definitely coming back here. We are so grateful

Lake Gaston is a stunning lake with beautiful water, peaceful scenery, and quiet serenity. Being able to stay at a place like this with all new renovated furniture, appliances and more makes everything feel even more peaceful and perfect. Everything was very clean, kayaks were in a good condition, the games provided were fun, though the foosball/pool table was a bit small and shakey. The kitchen was really nice and everything we needed to cook was there. Laura was a great host and very responsive and kind. Absolutely would recommend, we are definitely thinking about coming back!

This place is a retreat! It is immaculate, peaceful, and just the perfect place to recharge. The instructions were so thorough that all questions were answered before you could even ask! The bed and pillows were so comfortable that you melted right into them. It was like the mattress and pillows hugged you to sleep. You don’t hear any noise in the neighborhood. It’s so serene that it almost makes you feel like you are the only guests on the street. The neighborhood was so immaculate, well-kept, and quiet and the neighbors were extremely warm and welcoming. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we added on an additional night. This was the best AirBnB that we have ever booked. What a wonderful location and a beautiful home. It accommodated our large family and having the guest house helped keep the noise level down for sleeping/napping children. The gazebo was a great spot for the adults to gather in the evening to visit and play games. The home was clean and well stocked with everything needed. We would definitely recommend and stay again.
