Vacation rentals with lake access in Hadsel Municipality

We arrived late at night after a 4 hour drive from Narvik. The next day Cato showed me how to fill and heat the hottub and even took it upon himself to get it up to temp while we were out grocery shopping. That night we enjoyed gazing at the aurora borealis dancing above our heads in the hottub. A couple days later it got rainy and extremely windy preventing us from heating the hottub. As compensation Cato offered us use of his sauna and to take a swim in the sea, which we gladly did. He also gave us a whole cod for free from his fisherman's friend Tom which we used to make typical Norwegian dishes. Cato was extremely helpful and kind, he replied within minutes whenever we needed help or had any questions and he was full of amazing recommendations, as to where to hike and which towns and restaurants to visit. Towards the end of our stay it snowed a lot turning the surroundings into winter wonderland. We were very lucky to see all sides of Norway including the Northern lights!

My fiance and I spent the most incredible week in Lofoten at Telma’s cabin during the polar night! Grunnforfjord is absolutely spectacular in the winter season and we completely fell in love with the scenery, the wildlife and the northern lights displays which we had on pretty much every evening of our stay. The cabin has everything you could need and the wood burner kept us warm throughout. The separate annexe has some of the best views you could wake up to and we even had an otter walk past the window. We will certainly be coming back to Lofoten in the spring/summer months and if you are looking for a peaceful retreat this is the best we have experienced so far!

The house was in perfect condition and very comfortable. We had a small issue with the shower, but it was fixed incredibly quickly. The morning views of the snow-covered mountains were absolutely stunning. Would definitely stay again!

It was our second stay at this beautiful house and again it was perfect.

Nous avons passé un superbe moment, au chaud à côté d’un poêle avec une vue incroyable ! Nos hôtes ont tout fait pour que nous ne manquions de rien jusqu’au petit déjeuner maison qui attendait dans le frigo. Freddie nous a accueilli en nous racontant l’histoire de ce lieu exceptionnel et en prime nous avons observé une magnifique aurore boréale dès notre arrivée. Absolument rien à redire, c’était une expérience unique.

Super cute little house in a marvelous environment. We spent 3 lovely days at Mette’s place and enjoyed every moment. The place is really nice with all equipment and convenience to make you feel like home. The area is remote, quiet and offers plenty of opportunities for a nice walk. Mette is responsive and very friendly in her communication.

Tommy is a wonderful host. He made us feel very welcome. he was very responsive and communicated well, sharing all the information we needed to enjoy the cabin and the area surrounding it. He allowed us to arrive early and had put heating on ready for our arrival. I believe the cabin is a holiday home for Tommy and his family, so it felt very homely and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. The cabin itself is lovely and clean, the kitchen is quite small if you were cooking big meals for a group but it would be perfectly manageable. The beautiful large window in the living/dining area gives incredible views across the water and to the mountains. It was very windy, wet and cold during our stay at the end of September however we still made use of the boathouse where you can have a big fire to warm up, there’s chairs to sit and play some music and card games. There are lots of lovely places to hike a short drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend to anyone.

We had a great time and was even offered help with grocery's since it was a Sunday when we checked in, and the shops were closed. In the oven was freshly baked bread and hot coffee was available in the kitchen. I strongly recommend both the house and the hosts for anyone visiting Stokmarknes.

We had an amazing stay at this peaceful and spacious apartment! The location was quiet and scenic, perfect for a relaxing break. The apartment was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful extras like books and games. We were only there for one night but would love to stay longer. Lars and Tonje, thank you for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable!
