We rented this apartment because it is close to the border between Estonia and Russia. It is only 12 km. The apartment is spacious and has a sauna. It is very quiet and surrounded by green Estonian forests. Our goal was to stay close to the border, but for those who love nature and want to visit Estonia it is a great place. The host is very kind and helpful.

We arrived in the middle of the night, which was no problem. We could have even called Sille, which was not necessary thanks to the good description. The location of the log cabin is simply fantastic!!! Everything necessary is available. Even fresh water from the nearby spring was available. Sille and her husband are very friendly and open. We would have liked to do another guided tour, but the time was just too short. In the nearby town of Puka, there is a supermarket for shopping. Unfortunately, the weather was not so good to try the solar shower. Almost incidentally, the bed was very comfortable and cozy warm. Nice small cottage in the nature. Very close to both Otepää and Kääriku. Depending whether the larger house is also rented out or hosts are around, the cottage is either very private or there are neighbours next door. Hosts were very relaxed and friendly. Overall an excellent secluded peaceful location.

We enjoyed our stay at Mariin's place. The accommodation not only met, but exceeded our expectations. We would have liked to have stayed much longer. Those who are looking for a great view of the forest with peace and quiet and time for relaxation are absolutely in good hands here. The apartment was very clean, especially the kitchen! Mariin's recommendations for dinner, bakery and activities are of the highest quality. We will be happy to come back. Wishing Mariin and her family all the best until then and thank you for the wonderful stay.

We stayed 3 months and really felt right at home. The apartment has everything you need for a few days on vacation, but also to live for longer periods. We were there from September to December, including very cold days, and we were cold in this apartment. It is fully renovated, has good energy efficiency and heating is present in all rooms (including heated flooring in the bathroom). On the other hand, the comfort is great, and that includes the bed and sofas. It also has everything you need to live and feel at home. As for the area, it can't be beat. A quiet, beautiful neighborhood and a 10-minute walk from downtown. I would choose this apartment 1000 times more 😉
