Vacation rentals in Gyokuto, Tamana District

The place and the location are both fantastic. It is extremely good value for money compared with our other accommodation in Kyushu. The onsen is great. Beds are comfy. Place is warm. View is spectacular. Close to kurokawa onsen town. Close to ski fields. Easy access from beppu (with winter tyres) For access: In winter you need winter tyres to get to Kurosawa onsen. And the property is a bit higher up. we had heavy snowfall, so chains would be preferable for the driveway (but we parked 5min walk away and walked up instead). The highway to get to kurokawa onsen was closed unless you have winter tyres or chains. So it is necessary

The place is close to station, within 20mins ride to hakata/tenjin and it only takes 18 mins walk to the zoo. The owner is very considerate, provide drying racks, baby chair, sufficient amount of tissue, laundry detergent.

The perfect AirBnB! We stayed for a week and it was the perfect base for local hikes. It has everything you need - easy to cook meals and relax, comfortable bed and powerful shower plus good washing machine. We even caught up with some Netflix. This was the last week of a 5 week trip so we asked Kaori if she could suggest a local gym. Not only did she do that but she arranged membership for us so we could pay and go whilst we stayed here. Perfect! We used the dumbbells for some strength training. We would recommend Kaori’s place without hesitation. Communication was excellent and we appreciated the suggestions for the local farmers market (shop) and supermarkets nearby.

This is a great accommodation. The security was thorough, and it was a comfortable and clean room. The host's response is also the best. This is the place I'd like to go again next time.

Great place to stay !

This is a fabulous luxury stay. The space has been outfitted with the highest attention to detail. The experience is marvellous - Victoria can take you on a tour of the temple and give a bit of her husband’s family history. It was a little tricky to find initially (buy putting the temple in as the destination put us on the right track) and Victoria was in constant communication. It is within very close proximity to the Takachiho Gorge and a wealth of natural beauty. If you just want to chill the area is rural and very peaceful. We had the first night to ourselves and then shared with a very respectful group from Taiwan. Can thoroughly recommend.

The house had a beautiful ocean view! Convenience store is located in walking distance. We bought some foods there and cooked breakfast. The kitchen had condiment we need to cook quick breakfast. Two kids (4 year old and 6 year old) loved the place because it had a spacy living room they can play. I would definitely stay there again!

It was a trip with a lot of family. All the furniture, bedding, and bathrooms were clean, probably because they were newly repaired. Thanks to you, it was a pleasant trip.
