Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Guysborough County

Airbnb was beautiful exactly as shown in pictures and had the nicest view! It did get a little warm as I don’t believe there is a heat pump or AC unless we missed it but would recommend, great spot.

We had a great stay! We visited with 4 adults, a baby and a dog and we had lots of space to hang out in the main area. Sherbrooke village is just minutes away. Very peaceful and quiet area. Definitely recommend :)

This is a great spot! The location is beautiful and the view spectacular. Very quiet and peaceful. The accommodation has everything you need, we were a group of 5 and were super comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen had everything that you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable. This place was super clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the outdoor amenities but the property is lovely. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed a very relaxing getaway in a very quiet and tranquil setting -- the water view was fantastic. Hosts were very communicative and helpful and always friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet location to relax and unwind. Excellent hosts!

Our stay at the cottage was incredible! Breath-taking views of the ocean, peaceful atmosphere, and so many luxuries like plush towels, crisp bedding, and a perfectly laid out kitchen. The hot tub was lovely, with views of the sunset! Thoughtful items like beach towels and chairs, along with first aid kits, bug spray, and bite cream. We left the cottage feeling relaxed and revitalized! I will be returning with me girl friends for a weekend away asap!!!!

Jennie and Guy were amazing hosts. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Their cozy home has ample space on the main level for indoor living if you ever needed a break day. The deck is large and private and probably my favourite part of the house. The kitchen is extremely well stocked which made cooking away from home an enjoyable experience. The home gets a great breeze from the ocean which kept things cool on the inside and left us with no bugs on the outside! Jennie and Guy provided some excellent tips for things to do in the area and we used the home as a jump off point to see many other fun things in Cape Breton. While not immediately on the ocean, you can still see it from the deck and they were happy to share their kayaks and paddle board with us. A very nice perk which you won't find in many places. The little island is picturesque with lots of beautiful scenery to explore. The local beach was sandy and warm and the two pubs we went to were quite nice as well. Overall, I would highly recommend it. The value for money was extremely fair and we had a great experience overall. Thanks for the memories!

Took us a little bit to find the place as the defections in google maps didn’t take us far enough but otherwise everything else was great! Private, quiet! We just wished we booked 2 nights instead of 1!

Being pet friendly and having a large fenced in area for them to run around in was very nice.

We had an amazing weekend get away....it was beautiful on the inside as well as the outside ....had everything we needed for a relaxing and stress free weekend ...we will be returning for sure !!!

The idea was to chill out and recharge by the lake - and that's what happened. We had a terrific time and the staff were so responsive and helpful. Hot tub was excellent and looking out on a stunning view. Great little touches like a welcome gift for Archie the dog too which always helps!

The Islander Lodge was everything we could have wanted for our stay. The location is very rural (42 kms outside Antigonish in mostly cottage country), the "cottage" is really a log house ( a beauty), modern, immaculate and pristine. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck under the stars and listening to the hoots of owls nearby. We didn't use the kayaks but they are provided along with life jackets. The beautiful lodge is exactly as described,inside and out. It's magazine gorgeous and had everything we needed. We had loads of privacy and were reassured the host would be around if needed. My only two suggestions would be to bring your own drinking water as this area has very hard water. And don't forget your security code instructions (ha) so you dont inadvertently get locked out. ( my wife has a good memory thankfully ha). We HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend these exceptional accommodations in West Lochaber.

Amazing location, quiet lots of nature. Kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were comfortable hot tub was a bonus having kayaks and being right on the lake.

Was beyond lovely! Exactly as photos with all amenities described. Hot tub and fire pit more private than was let on. Beautiful, modern and immaculately clean. Loons sounding all evening was the cherry on top.
