The Stöckelkeller is the former inn in the village of Unternschreez near Bayreuth. By car, the university is 10 minutes away, the city center is 15 minutes away and the Festspielhaus is 20 minutes away. You will stay on 29 square meters (13 square meters of living & cooking; 11 square meters of sleeping; 5 square meters of bathroom) in modern, friendly rooms. We have equipped the apartment the way we like it when we travel. The house is right next to the small Margravial Schreez Castle. In 2021 & 2022, we completely renovated the house.

Completed in 2020 and thus a dream of mine has come true. I personally experienced the trend of less is more - first having to and then seeing it as an opportunity. Our place is absolutely quiet. In just a few steps you are in nature. It is ideally suited for 2 adults and 2-3 children. The large garden with a stream is ideal for children. In the immediate vicinity are cross-country ski trails (floodlit) and the biathlon stadium with roller ski track and ski lift, toboggan run, mountain bike trails and hiking trails. Lake Fichtelsee is a 20-minute walk away. Please request a child discount!

Perfect stay! I had a great time in Goldkronach. The apartment was exactly as described – clean, cozy and equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. I especially liked the quiet environment I was looking for. The host Steffen was extremely friendly and helpful, responded quickly to messages and made check-in/check-out very straightforward. This is one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in! The cabin was lovely and the gardens were beautiful. The sauna was a great feature and there were very nice walking trails right outside the house. The hosts were very kind and had a very generous food basket prepared! The bread service in the morning was also a great touch. I can’t recommend this place enough!
