Hostel vacation rentals in Gunnison County

clean and comfy hostel. friendly staff on-site, nice amenities provided and a good location close to bus stop. Quiet neighborhood with restaurants and groceries within walking distance.

The place itself has a nice homey feel, great convenient location, and the girls working at the office were nice. My only issue was with another guest in the dorm room making horrendous noises I don’t even know count as snoring.. so I was glad to be able to move to the other room, where another guest came in later and was also horribly loud. I know it’s a bit of a crapshoot staying in a dorm room but for the love of God, if you are a loud sleeper get a private room!

Amy and Crew are friendly, helpful, and responsive. The hostel they run is cozy and homey. My experience there was fantastic!

I LOVE this hostel. Everyone who works here is very friendly and they work hard to keep the place clean and running. I felt very comfortable being here, and I’m already thinking about my next trip here. This is a place people like coming back to, I’ve seen multiple guests that have been coming here for years.

Wonderful find! Stayed here for a solo trip. 30 min from crested butte, 1 hr from black canyon and 2.5 hr from sand dunes and lots more. Great spot to rest and plenty adventure nearby

Coolest hostel ever!!

The Wanderlust is always a great place to stay in Gunnison!

The rooms are no frills but that was okay in our book. We had a long day on the mountain, walked downtown to eat. Front desk let us check in an hr early which was great. Parking can be a situation but we got there early so we’re fortunate to get a spot on property. Room/bathroom/bed were clean. The commons area was nice and had basic morning essentials like coffee. 100yards from bus stop to take you up to the mountain which was convenient. All in all it was as advertised and would stay again if we’re back that way

Exactly as described. Great price. Great location. The bus stop is less than 90 seconds from your room, the bus runs every 15 minutes, and you are the last stop before the mountain/first stop coming off. Very much enjoyed my stay!
