Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

Beautiful house. Really nicely done for comfort and quality. Really welcoming and very helpful host. The lounge is a little cosy for more than three people, but we (four) made it work well enough and there's plenty of space otherwise. Some lovely shops just down the road, very easy to pop out to buy breakfast etc. Just a few minutes walk from Tram 5, which goes to the Spice market. Very firm beds which we liked, lots of little extra touches, such as slippers, exfoliating pads, napkins, bottled water. Made it feel quite lux! Loved it - would definitely go back!

Stay here if you love to be surrounded by art, plants and spoiled cats (on the sidewalk). Tao has gone above and beyond helping my me and my parents with an easier checkout.

The place itself was amazing—just as described and exactly like the photos. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. For anyone traveling to Istanbul by car, this location is ideal since it offers free parking right behind the building. The host was incredibly responsive, available almost 24/7, and checked in daily to make sure we had everything we needed—he truly cared about our comfort. Everything was perfect, especially the hospitality. Highly, highly recommended!

Unsere Reise und Aufenthalt in der Wohnung war ausgezeichnet. Die Wohnung war in einem Top sauberen und gepflegten Zustand, traumhafter, unvergesslicher und wunderschöner, vor allem abends/nachts, Ausblick von der Dachterrasse aus. Die 4 Etagen Treppen hoch, hat sich jedes Mal gelohnt. Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig und doch ist man eine Straße weiter mitten im Geschehen, tolle Lokale, sehr gutes Essen, vieles fußläufig erreichbar und abends bis zur späten Stunde tolle Musikbars. Einfach Klasse und empfehlenswert. Herr Dehan hat von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme bis zum Abschied seine authentische Gastfreundschaft, Hilfsbereitschaft und Unterstützung gezeigt und war uns gegenüber sehr entgegenkommend und sehr behilflich gewesen. We visited as a family with two small kids and had a fantastic 5-day stay. The neighborhood is vibrant, authentic, and full of heart, with great shops and restaurants to explore daily. The house was spacious — more than we needed, as we didn’t use the downstairs apartment — but very comfortable, especially for the kids. Getting around was easy with the Istanbulkart; tram line 5 and bus 55 are just a short walk away. We cooked a few times and found the kitchen workable (cooking with gas), though some utensils were a bit worn and basic items like salt and pepper would’ve been helpful. Still, these were minor things. We’d happily return to Balat and to Ömer’s house. To really enjoy it, I’d recommend staying at least 4–5 days.

If you plan to visit the historic sites in Istanbul, Giorgio’s place should be first on your list of places to look at. Located within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, the Palace, the Grand Bazaar and more, Giorgio’s apartment was an ideal spot for what we wanted to see in Istanbul. The apartment was clean, the bedrooms spacious and the hosts were super responsive. Communication was quick and helpful. The airport transfers for three day stays and longer made check in a breeze. And Giorgio arranged for return transfers to the airport (for a fee). This made checking out a breeze. There is a fantastic restaurant 10 meters from the front door (Begonville Cafe) where the workers treat you like family. Overall, our visit to Istanbul was stress free in part due to Giorgio’s apartment. We had a great experience and would recommend anyone to stay at Giorgio’s place.

Everything was great, the apartment was clean, the location was excellent, and the response to any request was quick. I will definitely come again.

I especially liked the location. It is about 2 blocks to a bus stop and 3 blocks from a Tram that takes you quickly to the Old City historical sites. Using these transportation routes eliminates walking up and down the big hills that some other İstanbul locations can’t offer. The place is roomy, and the bed was comfortable.

This is my second time choosing Flex as my Airbnb host. I became so captivated by the endless views of the Marmara Sea, so in the last minute, I decided to cancel my reservation at a five-star hotel and reached out to Flex to see if they could arrange for me to stay in an apartment with both an ocean view and an elevator until the end of the year when I return to the U.S. Their service was truly exceptional. I stayed here about one month the apartment was clean as description quite nice area near to tramway which you go to most historical attractions The was very helpful and fast responsive It's suitable for couples or maximum 3 person

Dilek's place was modern and beautiful with many amenities and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing we found uncomfortable was that the smaller of the two bedrooms was hot and it did not have AC. The larger bedroom and the living room did have AC. We thought to open the window but the window faced the hallway inside the building. Overall it was a great modern apartment and we were happy with our decision to stay there. Dilek was easy to reach and responsive. thank you Dilek!

Lovely district with many good bars and restaurants. Very clean flat with comfortable bed and sofa in the living room. Great view from the roof terrace. A fantastic option in Cihangir district.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Istanbul dans cet appartement situé à Beyoğlu, à deux pas de la tour de Galata. L'appartement est très propre, récemment rénové, calme, et parfaitement équipé. Il dispose d’une chambre séparée avec un matelas très confortable, idéal pour bien se reposer après une journée de visite. L’hôte, Ram ou Karim, est extrêmement disponible et attentionné. Ils savent vraiment accueillir : eau en bouteille en quantité, papier toilette, tout est prévu, rien ne manque. La localisation est exceptionnelle : à 2 minutes de l’avenue Istiklal, la plus commerçante d’Istanbul, avec de nombreuses bonnes affaires (bien moins chères qu’à Paris !), tout en étant à l’écart du bruit. À proximité immédiate aussi du tunnel pour rejoindre le pont de Galata, du tramway pour accéder à la vieille ville, et à quelques minutes de Şişli. Title: Wonderful Stay, Fantastic Host! I had the pleasure of staying at this amazing apartment, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated—exactly as shown in the listing. The location was perfect, close to key attractions, public transport, and some great local restaurants. What really stood out, though, was the Ksenia the host. She was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. From offering local tips to making sure I was comfortable, their hospitality made all the difference. I felt well taken care of throughout my entire stay. The apartment was well-stocked with everything from fresh towels to a fully equipped kitchen, which made it easy to feel at home. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the place was peaceful and quiet—ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay if you want an authentic feel in a local neighbourhood which is walkable to main sights. The apartment itself is beautiful, very clean, and has a warm, welcoming feel. Benny was an exceptional host -thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Before we arrived, I asked about doing some laundry and he kindly picked up washing powder for us without even being asked. The fridge was stocked with water, which was a lovely touch. The neighborhood, while a little run-down in parts, felt deeply local and gave us the rare opportunity to experience the real Istanbul, away from the busy tourist spots. It was peaceful and quiet during the day, yet just a short walk or quick taxi ride from the bustling markets, main attractions, and business districts. Benny’s local guide was a great read, full of interesting recommendations. We were able to walk to most places, and when needed, local taxis were easy to use—just make sure the driver turns on the meter before you go.

This is a nice spot in Nişantaşı. Definitely a very safe part of Istanbul that will feel very comfortable for visitors, especially with 24 hour security in the building. The apartment is quiet and peaceful and overlooks a nice courtyard. It's as pictured, and Kerem is a great host, always quick to respond. It's great for one person for short stays.

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Beyoğlu than this magnificent apartment. Aaron's an attentive host & has stellar taste. Highly recommend staying here!
