Very nice guest house in a quiet place with nice views or the valley. Great to stay a little away from the hustle and traffic of Bir. The hosts, Navdeep and his wife are very friendly, caring people. We enjoyed their company and conversation. They both are good cooks of Indian food. The closest restaurant is about a 15 minute walk, downtown about 20 minutes. We enjoyed the local countryside and neighbors.

I enjoyed my stay at Navdeep's place. All was present as indicated in the listing and photos, and it was definitely worth the price that I paid. Communication with the host was good, although I could have used precise directions to the location earlier than when I received them to better navigate and save time. WiFi was good and it was wonderfully safe parking for my motorcycle. The people who lived in the domicile were friendly and cooperative. I gladly offer Navdeep's place my highest recommendation.

My stay at Aditi's Airbnb in Bir Himachal Pradesh was an absolute dream. The picturesque beauty of Bir served as the perfect backdrop for a truly rejuvenating getaway. Our stay at the Indie Apartment was peaceful, cozy, and truly refreshing. The apartment is nestled in a vibrant garden full of life and colour, making it a lovely natural retreat. It’s conveniently located close to the main market area, with most places just a walk away. Amit and Aditi are exceptional hosts, warm, thoughtful, and always available when needed. They made us feel truly welcome and at home. We really appreciated their helpful suggestions for things to do in Bir. Thanks to their guidance, we experienced paragliding for the first time, and it was absolutely amazing! A memory we’ll always cherish and would love to relive. Aditi and Amit are wonderful hosts. They provided us with a curated list about things to do, food etc near by. We just followed it and had a great time. They are very helpful and caring too. Pepper's home looked exactly like pictures. It had all the amenities mentioned, our stay was very comfortable. I would definitely visit it again. ✌️

A very sweet and helpful host ,with a very beautiful cosy place

I was visiting Bir, in December 2022 to start my paragliding course. I must say that I made a really good choice to stay at Amrita's place. After a long day of paragliding training, this place absolutely felt like home for me and my friends. Peaceful, right weather, privacy, amenities, all my requirements were fulfilled personally. Has a vintage vibe to the house as our host told us that the place is about 103 years, very well-kept, and maintained. The kitchen and the rest of the place were very clean as well. I have already started recommending it to my friends. Also, not to forget about mentioning the top floor bathroom which is Huge and gives a view of the Billing Valley. 3-5 minutes away from the market to get all the necessary groceries and vegetables. Huge and well-functional kitchen to cook in as well. Plus Jimmy the dog made our experience playful. Thank you, Amrita for such an amazing stay and experience.

The hosts (Abhay’s parents) are wonderful people! They made us feel totally at home. They also shared their knowledge about the local area and activities with us. There is a little terrace in the front, where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee (if you have brought your supplies!). It’s also a great spot for watching the visiting long-tailed parrots commonly found in Himachal Pradesh. The home is newly constructed and very clean. It is in a very quiet area. The kitchen is fairly equipped, should you want to cook. There are a few good places to eat within walking distance.

The stay was excellent and the food they shared with us was wonderful and homely. Immaculately kept house. The only thing to note would be that the path to reach the gate is steep and narrow, almost too small for our SUV. Do keep that in mind.

I can’t believe that this place was so much more than you can see on Airbnb. Words and pictures can’t describe the beauty and serenity of this home. Taking a shower in the first floor bathroom was like being in a warm spa. That shower is basically a sun room and my husband and I couldn’t have been in more love with it. The host is the nicest person and is so open to sharing numbers and info for local restaurants and activities. The nursery next to the home is filled with plants and succulents that you won’t find at that roadside stand near your house so definitely take back a few plants if you can. This house is a whimsical fairytale so definitely set aside some time from your trip to enjoy this property as well.

Had a delightful and peaceful stay - thanks Vineet and Raj Kumar for the warm hospitality! The surroundings are serene, the rooms are clean and comfy, and we always had prompt support from Vineet for recommendations – all of which are top. They got us guides, cabs, bikes, etc sorted in a jiffy. Our time in Bir/Kotli was most certainly memorable and we look forward to returning in the near future 😊 we also enjoyed saying hi to Dadi 😌

Aunty was just so warm and hospitable and we wish to come back and revisit Palampur only because we found the perfect people to stay with. We highly recommend that people visit and stay at this place. They're the most lovely hosts.

The space is thoughtful, beautifully put together and carries so much character. Gauri is an amazing host, would definitely recommend to people who are into art, pottery and anything creative!!

A great place to shy away from all the commercialized cities of Himachal. We stayed here for 15days and Aman's parents took care of us as their own children. If you are a person who can stay away from Cafes and urban hub then this is the place for you. Wifi service is something that needs improvement!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a property. Firstly, I must commend the beautiful and serene location of the accommodation. Despite being 2 km away from the market, the peaceful ambiance and scenic surroundings made it a delightful retreat. The tranquility of the area added to the overall charm of the stay. The room itself was spacious and impressively equipped with amenities, making my stay comfortable and convenient. However, I noticed that the mattress could use some improvement in terms of comfort. Enhancing the quality of the mattress would certainly elevate the guest experience. I must also highlight the exemplary hospitality extended by the hosts. They were incredibly accommodating and exhibited utmost politeness throughout my stay. Their warm demeanor added a personal touch to the experience, making me feel welcomed and value. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and appreciated the beauty and tranquility of the location, as well as the hospitality of the hosts.

This is not actually an Airbnb, it is a room in the Chokling Arthouse, which is the hotel next to Chokling Monastery. I never did meet Kartik, and when I asked about him, everyone at the guesthouse stared blankly, as if they'd never heard of him. But the hotel is lovely, as is the management, and the room is very spacious and comfortable with spectacular views. I loved my stay here. That said, it is definitely not big enough for three people. This is a suite for two people, even though the hotel will offer you an extra cot at a fee. There is really no where to put it, though, unless one person slept in the sitting area. There is also no kitchen, just a microwave and a few bowls, spoons, etc. There is AC, hot water, and a lovely sitting area. The hotel restaurant has extremely slow service and not many options, but the waiters are extremely friendly. This room opens onto a large public terrace area, which be noisy at night with people doing fire spinning, etc.

Had a truly calm and peaceful stay. The host and their family were incredibly warm and welcoming; it genuinely felt like home. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, with clear and responsive communication throughout. A special mention to the lovely family for their hospitality. The location is great too, with a general store and Wah Tea Estate within walking distance. Highly recommended!
