Roddan is an original village with red brick houses. The charm of this place is nature, rural life, a bit off the beaten track, without mass tourism. There are many cycling routes, swimming areas in the old Elbe river basins and forest roads for long walks. Our garden is large, there is a place for dinner at a table for 10 people, there is a place to relax on the grass and by the fire. In the autumn and winter season, you have to heat the house yourself with a stove (on the ground floor), and there are electric heaters in the bedrooms.

There is plenty of space to paint and model. The large skylights provide plenty of light during the day, and at night you can see the Milky Way from the sofa bed. In the kitchenette you can prepare a small meal. The underfloor heating in the bathroom makes the stay comfortable.

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The residential house and barn of the listed 3-sided farmstead are built with oak timber framing. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the linden trees are pruned back, the house can be seen in all its glory. From May, it then slowly disappears behind shady foliage and stays wonderfully cool throughout the summer...
