Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Gulf of Papagayo

We were looking forward a remote location to settle for some months. This was a great sanctuary to be alone and explore the empty beach. The WiFi was very good , even when other local services were unavailable. The neighbour made us delicious food when requested. A great adventure.

Super schönes Haus mit grossem Pool. Schöne grosszügige Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer. Täglicher Pool Service. Waschmaschine und Tumbler alles vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden sicher widerkommen.

Un alojamiento perfecto para descansar, limpio, con todo lo necesario, piscina perfecta y muy limpia, un lugar muy tranquilo, muy buena atención por parte de los anfitriones siempre atentos, sin duda volveremos.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Stephen was a most helpful host and assisted us in making all of our plans for a short but fantastic visit to Costa Rica. The house is just as advertised, clean and spacious. The views are out of this world and the access to amenities on the resort are perfect. Quick trip to local beaches and restaurants and we even had time to prepare a few meals in the kitchen. We followed all of Stephen’s advice including a half-day snorkeling trip with Juan Carlos which was a home run! I literally cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Stephen and his beautiful home. I just followed the playbook he provided during our pre-visit telephone call and everything worked out beautifully. Playa Hermosa’s beach is breathtaking and Stephen made all the right restaurant recommendations! I was looking for a simple and fun trip for my family of five and thanks to Stephen my plan came to fruition. So relaxing!

Very cool place. Pool was awesome and so were wildlife and views. Behind big gate and the AC was great all over the house. Washer and dryer nice touch. Saw cows horses birds and monkeys.

My family of 5 had an amazing time here! Our three boys (16, 13, and 8) loved the house, the pool, and the great vibe here. The house and surroundings are even better than the pictures, which is saying something since the pictures made it look like paradise. Monica was extremely responsive—more so than any host I’ve ever dealt with previously. They have everything you could possibly need for your stay. The area is gorgeous and Playa Grande is a cute town with great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked very last min to stay at David’s place as we only had a few days left in Costa Rica and wanted to be closer to the airport but not right in town. David responded right away and gave clear instructions on how to get to his place. The studio was very clean and felt very homie. The pool was clean and a great little community pool area with a BBQ. David stopped in on our first day and was very friendly. Craig who lives on the grounds is a great guy for food and beach recommendations. Stores are close by (within walking distance) made for an easy first night to cook dinner. Bed is very comfortable and nice hot shower for the end of the after touring around the local area. Nice a quiet at night to sit and have a beer or morning coffee with the local wild life. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next trip.

We had an incredible time at this property. The photos do not do it justice. Views for days, comfortable living area, three new king beds and a well-appointed kitchen. Extra bonus of having filtered water and ice in the fridge. The outside area is incredible and you can have shade/sun/pool all day. The A/C works well to cool the house and keep it very comfortable. At this property you are a short drive from playa conchal, Tamarindo and other local beaches (Flamingo, Brasilato). There is a grocery store close by with basics and a larger one a few minutes further, there is a gym and a fruit/veg stand as well. We spent our mornings lounging on the deck and in the pool, our afternoons & evenings exploring and our nights watching a movie or listening to the monkeys on the deck. We saw butterflies, dragonflies, birds and lizards, heard monkeys and watched a tree full of parrots. We drove in the wrong side when we arrived, so be sure to come in the main gate.

Très beau séjour dans un endroit vraiment agréable. Nous avons bien profité de la grande terrasse et de la piscine. Comme la cafetière ne fonctionnait pas bien, Polino s’est empressé de la remplacer le jour même qu’on lui en a fait part. Étant située dans Pacifico, la maison nous offre la sécurité puisqu’il faut toujours passer à la guérite avec gardien pour accéder au site. Ce fut un séjour en famille inoubliable.

Everything you expect. Great home, great host. Very clean, nice pool. Excellent communication. Only the surf teacher that was recomended wasn’t that good but that’s not on the host in my opinion.

We loved our stay here! Diana’s home is lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed having all necessary items-including beach gear-and enjoyed the pool after our outings. Diana’s recommendations were fantastic and led us to several memorable sunsets and delicious meals. We would love to return. It’s a wonderful home base for exploring the north coast.

Excelente hospedaje. Los anfitriones muy amables y dispuestos a todas las dudas. El hospedaje en excelentes condiciones de limpieza, orden, utilidades de cocina. La comodidad es muy alta en cualquiera de las opciones, tanto sofacama, literas y por su puesto las recamara principal. Destacable la limpieza en la cocina que está bien equipada y la limpieza del baño. La piscina es excelente para pasar un buen rato por la noche ya que es visualmente atractiva.

My girlfriend and I spent a few days at Casita Coco and we cannot say enough good about the accommodation and the hosts. The check in was very easy along with the directions provided being very clear for finding the place. There are many great beaches nearby within a short drive or walking distance in a lot of cases. The restaurant selection is also wonderful and there is a market nearby to get something to cook if you wanted to spend a nice evening in together. Lastly we were very impressed with not only the cleanliness and decor, the scenery and amenities also really stood out. We will absolutely be back as everything about Casita Coco was a positive experience for us. Thank you Claire and Christophe :)

Excelente ubicación esta aproximadamente 10 min del centro donde puedes encontrar de todo . El lugar tiene una vista hermosa y todo está muy limpio y ordenado el condominio es muy tranquilo . Lo recomiendo y esperamos volver !

Desde los días previos, Coleen se mostró muy servicial con información clarísima sobre cómo llegar. Nos envió fotos, códigos y no dejó ningún detalle suelto. Inclusive se esforzó por suministrar un servicio de carga eléctrica, pero me di cuenta en medio del proceso que no iba a funcionar. En ese caso más bien debí advertirle antes, fue un error mío. Coleen estuvo accesible en cada momento y nos permitió hacer check-in desde tempranas horas, eso nos permitió llegar mucho más temprano y sacarle más provecho a nuestro día en Flamingo. Recomiendo muchísimo esta opción para quienes busquen algo cercano a la playa y en un lugar alejado del ruido.

This was one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at! I was traveling with my elderly parents and two kids (1 yr and 3yr) . The house was adorable, great art , comfortable sitting areas, the kitchen was well stocked, everyone had plenty of space. My parents stayed upstairs so could escape to quiet from kids! There were toys, books, cribs, high chairs, even floaties for the pool! When traveling with kids this is a huge plus to not have to pack these items! Very quiet neighborhood and really enjoyed hanging on the back deck! We walked to beach and restaurants with both kids and my parents no problem! Plenty of towels , and beach chairs! Very clean and Sebastian was super responsive and accommodating, we can’t wait to come back ! I would give 10 stars !! 🌟🌟🌟

Pictures don’t do this place justice. It is so nice! Very secluded and peaceful yet only 5 minutes from town with the golf cart (big hills to get there so you need some type of transportation!). Communication with Marco and Todd was above and beyond, they made sure we had everything we needed. We hired the private chef for one night and it was amazing! Really loved our stay ♥️

Emily and Florent were super nice and helpful, we felt welcome and really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is perfect, a nice spot so sit outside, a comfortable bed and a kitchen with everything you need. It was very clean. We really enjoyed the pool. The beaches are very close by, we loved going to see the sunset in the evenings. We can only recommend this place.

Blue Sky Lodge en Quirimancito es un lugar especial para descansar y relajarse en las montañas de Nicoya. Pasamos unas excelentes vacaciones en familia. El lugar está completamente equipado, la piscina es preciosa y tiene unas vistas increíbles hacia la ciudad de Nicoya, la cocina muy amplia y equipada. Sandra y su familia nos recibieron muy bien, siempre estuvieron atentos con todos los detalles y nos dieron todas las recomendaciones para aprovechar al máximo nuestra estancia. Seguro que volveremos.

This was our first time in Costa Rica and we picked this place based off of the pictures and reviews. Like other reviewers say, this goes way above and beyond the pictures shown. Only because it’s impossible to capture the magic of Isaac’s stunning casa. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and it fit our needs plus way more. The view out the back is magical! The infinity pool was everything after a long day of adventuring and being at the beach. Isaac is an incredible host and we are so grateful for him sharing his beautiful home with us. Costa Rica is the most magical place we have been, and Isaac’s place took it to a whole another level of beauty!

Lucas y compañía nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Muy atentos a todo, tuvimos un pequeño incidente con la Villa, y de inmediato nos cambiaron otra, para reparar el daño menor q tenía. Todo está impecable, como nuevo. La ubicación es perfecta, zona muy tranquila, y cerca de todo! Volveremos sin duda!!!
