Vacation rentals in Guayabal

Tonyia and Rod's place was a peaceful retreat. In the mornings we drank coffee on the patio while watching toucans in the trees. In the evenings we soaked in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The home was spotless and well designed. I loved the special touches like fresh flowers and coffee/ spices already provided. We tried several of our hosts' restaurant recommendations and all were outstanding. Be aware that the road from the town to the house is rough gravel. We got used to it but a sturdy car is recommended!

Breathtaking view of the Arenal Volcano and the lake from our room. The beautiful flowers & plants attracted hummingbirds right up to our balcony. The onsite restaurant had friendly staff and delicious food - recommend the natural juices and desserts! Loved having breakfast included. Our room was more spacious than expected. Our stay felt very safe, secure and peaceful. Easy drive to explore La Fortuna, hanging bridges and sloth tours.

Magnifique appartement super bien situé. Le nettoyage était impeccable! Les extérieurs étaient exceptionnels, juste à côté de la forêt. On pouvait voir plusieurs beaux oiseau. La cuisine était très bien équipée, ce qui est très pratique quand on y demeure quelques jours. Il faut seulement être conscient que comme c’est un revêtement de vous, quand il pleut beaucoup, il peut s’en dégager un odeur particulière mais on s’habitue rapidement. Les hôtes ont été très gentils et accueillants !

I can't say enough about how good the house was. Elidier was a better host than words could say, he helped to arrange some extras for my wife's birthday that really made the stay above and beyond. The house was clean, beautiful, private and safe. If you need a house in the La Fortuna area look no further, this is the place. You will not find a better host than Elidier.

We had a great short stay, could return already to continue discovering the many things to do, bathing, hiking, and the like. Juan helped with every necessary hints and recommendations and was always responsive and open for questions. Many thanks to you Maribel and Juan! AMAZING. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, the view is WAY better in real, the room are big and clean with hot water, really a piece of paradise!!! The only thing to know, there is a breakfast for a great price available. Otherwise you need to think to buy some food to eat. It is not far away from the little town where you have a few restaurants (maybe 1-2?), a little convenient store and a place to get meat but it is a bumpy road to come back to get it, so think ahead and buy it before you get there!

We loved how close to town we were but still seemed private and secluded! The area was calm and quiet we loved having breakfast outside our cabin! The area surrounding was stunning the inside was spotless !!! We also met their friendly little kitten! Place was awesome can’t stop thinking about it can’t wait for the next time we are in La Fortuna.!
