Just as described, nice place that is very close to the airport for early flights. Very friendly and welcoming hosts that invited us for dinner. Recommended.

We really loved our stay, we were made to feel so welcome and Ana Maria and Mario are wonderful and were fantastic hosts. We liked the location, but it is a short walk to the centre and up lots of stairs, which we didn't mind, but should be considered when booking. The roof terrace was great as was the daily home cooked breakfast. We would certainly stay again and recommend to others.

We spent 4 nights at Lucy and Nery's during the Easter weekend and loved our stay! They are very warm and welcoming. The moments of sharing during breakfast were very pleasant, we felt right at home. The accommodation is clean and has a private bathroom. Location is ideal, everything is easily reachable by foot. We highly recommend it!

This place was easily the highlight of all the places we stayed at in Guatemala. The attention to detail and aesthetics showed a lot of care from the hosts. The staff were super friendly. Having parking was a great convenience, and the peaceful environment despite being in town was a big plus. We’d definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommend it for a comfortable and pleasant stay!

Excellent location, just 15 minutes from the airport and just 1 km from the beautiful Western Camino Real hotel, zone 10 is very chic, safe, and Alba Lucia welcomed me personally, gave me a beautiful tour of her garden, and oh surprise, she invited me to dinner with fresh vegetables from her garden, delicious sweet mango, and a very nutritious homemade dressing with seeds. And more surprises, the next day the person who helps with the cleaning prepared a delicious breakfast with tortillas, cheese, dressing, and black coffee. Alba Lucia explained everything to me in detail, gave me incredible tips, and also helped me with the reservation of the shuttle to Panajachel, who picked me up at the house at 6 am. The house is beautiful, rustic, colonial, and shared with other residents. The room is beautiful, spacious, bright, and a giant bathroom. The decoration is very authentic, with artistic photos that honor the women of Guatemala. I've already booked again and will enjoy the elegant and artistic atmosphere of zone 10.

The room was pristine and located within a hotel so there was good breakfast and every service a hotel has to offer, despite the property being a full 1 bedroom apartment.

This listing is in Zone 10, which is one of the better zones in Guatemala City. You can easily walk to multiple grocery stores and restaurants. You can do your laundry here at the listing. This rental also has multiple dedicated working spaces with chairs that properly support your back and neck while using your laptop computer. The wi-fi is reliable and fast. There's a 4-burner stove with cooking gear if you want to prepare your own meals. There's also many plants if you enjoy that kind of scenery. Willy is an excellent host who always tries to accommodate his guests with excellence and kindness. He communicates very well and applies more effort than any Airbnb host I've ever stayed with. I enjoy speaking with him, and his unique humor. Most Airbnb hosts within this price range could learn a lot from Willy. I encourage Airbnb hosts to stay here for a few days, and try to understand what guests want/need to feel welcome.

From the time I reserved with Ana Lucrecia, she was very responsive and communicated frequently to make sure everything was clear prior to arriving. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had a change of plans last minute and didn't stay at her location, however, she was extremely understanding and still made herself available if we needed anything while in Guatemala. While I unfortunately can't speak about her place since we had to cancel last minute, I can say with complete confidence that Ana Lucrecia goes above and beyond the call to make sure you not only have a pleasant stay but an extraordinary experience while in Guatemala. She even checked in with us to make sure things were going well on the trip days after our reservation. I highly recommend Ana Lucrecia if you want someone who truly cares about your experience.

Ginger was an exceptionally welcoming and communicative host from start to finish. From the moment our reservation was accepted through to checkout, we truly felt cared for and well accommodated. The property itself is peaceful, beautifully curated, and absolutely dreamy. Our room was incredibly comfortable, featuring top-of-the-line beds and bedding that ensured a restful and luxurious stay. A special highlight was the bathtub—a rare find in Guatemala, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return!

Palacio de Dona Beatriz is in a secure gated community. It is very safe and quiet. The facility is more beautful than the photos. The staff was wonderful, kind, helpful and responsive to all our requests. The breakfasts were outstanding and generous. We booked out the whole place for my family to stay while attending my son's wedding. We were busy, with odd hours and stressed at times. The staff was flexible and smoothed the way for us. Everyday! If you think Palacio de Dona Beatriz will meet your needs I would look no further. They have my highest recommendation!
