Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Guarda District

Our stay was perfect. Teresa and Jorge are wonderful hosts, who have pampered us throughout our stay. They are always available and looking to satisfy any wishes or needs we may have. The house is really unique and special, full of history and beautiful decoration, antiques and exquisite details. Children and adults have been so comfortable with the pool, the weather, the barbecue, the outdoor furniture,... that we have enjoyed the house more than the obligatory tourist visits to the city and the area. 100% Recommended

It is a family house, very well maintained and recovered. The house has all the conveniences and a few more. The Host ensured an excellent communication and the lady who received us (Mrs. Silvina) overflows sympathy. We were still entitled to some miminhos, which were cherry on cake. Cozy house, central heating. Great overall Cleaning. Complete kitchen. Zona calm, just 10km from Seia, and commerce. Great for relaxing and for strolling mainly to the Serra da Estrela.

We loved the stay! The house had all the amenities to spend a quiet and comfortable weekend. Mr. João was always very attentive.

We had never been to this area so we’re glad we rented a car in order to take a few side trips to some wineries. The place is modern, spacious and very clean. We especially liked the balcony overlooking the River. It would be helpful for more complete instructions in the “welcome book” for how to work appliances. We only used the washer/dryer but there are some great items to use in the kitchen. Beautiful apartment!

Manuela's communication is assertive and very clear in the information provided. The house is extremely clean, well organized and is quite comfortable. The very easy check-in. The very calm and quiet area. Very well located, has the Bus terminal and market near the house. Theater, museum, various historical moments to visit the Foot. I recommend it and will be back!

Due to a breakdown in the car I could not enjoy the stay, but the communication was excellent.

Marisa, great , explained everything perfect! The apartment is small but cozy, clean and has everything you need. The only bad thing is that you hear too much noise from the other neighbors when it comes to sleeping. The location is nice but far from everything , if or if you have to go with a car . There's not much to do there . But Serra da Estrela is very nice , the views are spectacular, I would come back when I'm sure there will be snow , it must be wonderful.

This wonderful apartment is absolutely cozy and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped, the garden is beautiful and there is wood for the fireplace. The heated bed is a giant plus, and it's extremely comfortable. Thank you so much, we loved our stay!

Don’t think twice is a wonderful home to live in. Clean bathrooms, nice bedrooms, everything was wonderful.

This place is amazing! The property feels extremely private. There were 4 of us and we felt the house could easily have slept another 4. Everything was spotless. The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend going to their restaurant in town, everything was cooked perfectly. The pool was great and we loved using the barbecue. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

We booked for 8 people and had the entire villa, but there were only 3 bedrooms in the main villa. An additional bedroom with its own kitchen was offered separately. The separate room was amazing, but it would’ve been better if this setup was mentioned in the listing. The property was very clean and exceeded expectations. Carlos, our host, was helpful and quickly resolved a short circuit and fire alarm issue, even providing extra wood for the fireplace to compensate. On checkout day, the water pipes froze, leaving us without water. Carlos responded quickly, but it delayed our plans as we checked out late. This was inconvenient, and I hope measures are taken to avoid this in winter. Despite these issues, the stay was great, and I would return. Clearer communication in the listing and winter-proofing would make this property perfect!

My family and I (wife and two kids (13 and 16) spent three days over Chistmas at the house. it was the absolute perfect place to spend the holidays. The house is very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and was perfect for us to prepare the full Véspera and Christmas Day meals. There is even a local bread delivery service and the legendary Sera da.estrela mountain cheese made from local sheep available close by. Loriga is a beautiful mountain town and should not to be missed. From the beginning Senhor Tiago was extremely helpful and friendly. We are so grateful to have been able to spend our Christmas in such a fantastic location. We can't recommend this house more highly!!!!

Excellent stay, very private space with a thoughtful and welcoming design. Well-assisted stay, friendliness and willingness to support any questions related to the property and the existing programs in the region to do. I recommend it and there will certainly be other visits.

The cottage was as shown in the pictures. In the middle of nowhere and perfect for when you are looking for peace in nature. Friendly owner who is always available for any questions.

If you are looking for a cocoon in nature even for one night you have found your accommodation. Magical place lost in the mountains, which you can admire from the jaccuzi, your batteries will be recharged to the maximum.

Staying here was a true joy! The villa was located in beautiful surroundings, not far from a river and network of walking trails. The vineyard and olive trees were lovely to walk through. It was the perfect spot for a cozy getaway in Douro valley in autumn. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove in the evenings as well. Francisca was a lovely host, very responsive and kind. She provided us with several recommendations that made our stay so memorable. We would love to stay here again!
