Beautiful apartment with plenty of space. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this location. The host was friendly and forthcoming. The house was clean and fully equipped. Fortunately there were heaters all over the place, so even during our winter stay, we stayed warm and cozy.

Nothing to say, everything was spotless and the place is air-conditioned even if it is not indicated in the description. The village is the place is exactly what I wanted to find.

The house is in a great location, near Seia. It has parking that can be for 3 cars and the check-in is done autonomously, which makes it easy to not have to arrange hours to get in. The house was very clean, very tastefully decorated, with everything we needed. The rooms are the same as the photos and each has its own private bathroom, which was of great value! The super comfy beds and cushions! The kitchen had dishes, cutlery, glasses, all in great quantities, and provided Nespresso machine coffee, teas, sugar, napkins, among other things. Dishwasher detergent pads are even available! The ping pong table was an excellent fun for everyone. We really liked being in the house, super comfortable and cozy… No doubt when we return to visit the Serra da Estrela, we will be staying here again! And we even consider coming back in the summer to enjoy the pool. Many thanks for making us feel at home.

We stayed overnight with our two dogs and it had everything we needed for our stay. Clear instructions on how to access the accomodation and we could park right in front which was very handy. Comfy beds, all rooms were en-suite and everything you need to cook in the kitchen. Thank you

Joaquim is wonderful… so gracious and helpful. Upon our arrival, he showed us the details of the apartment and pointed out the homemade cookies and puddings his mother has made for us! He also offered us excellent wine, port, coffee, tea and more. We instantly felt right at home. The apartment is fabulous and perfectly located for fun in the Douro Valley. We drove to Pinhao stopping to taste different wines and ports along the way. We also took a long hike through the vineyards to a town at the top of a hill with fabulous views. We were blessed with perfect weather during our one full day there. Douro Valley is stunningly beautiful and Joaquin’s apartment is too!

Rosa's home is the perfect place for someone who loves the real Portugal. From a super clean house to a well equipped kitchen, everything was there that I needed or would need. The pictures on Airbnb are not as good as the actual space. I was pleasantly surprised at how much more spacious and beautiful it was than the photos portrayed. Upon my arrival, Rosa greeted me and gave a tour of the house. She was friendly and easy to communicate with. My Portuguese is VERY poor but she communicates well in English. I was there for over a month and will definitely return. This is a beautiful home to stay in with a wonderful hostess and the grandmother is awesome!
