Location Location Location! Birkelunden is the perfect location to stay when visiting Oslo. You'll be in the heart of Grunerløkka with everything right outside the door. Shopping, restaurants, bar's, parks, supermarkets og close to the tram and bus that will take you to almost every place in Oslo within 5-15 min. Tram (11, 12, 18) and Bus (21, 30) is right outside that takes you to, Aker Brygge/Tjuvholmen, Frogner, Majorstuen, City Center. Airportbus is stopping 1.5min walk from the apartment.

Welcome to Grünerløkka! This is my favorite part of Oslo - a historic industrial area now home to trendy singles, young families, priests, poets - and parks. Centrally located, my place is quiet, bright, secluded - just a few minutes away from hundreds of local cafe's, restaurants, shops and bars. Take a stroll or break into a run along Akerselva river or in the expansive public parks nearby. Walk, bike, scooter, or ride the "trikk" to anywhere - or stay at home with a book in our backyard.

We had one very short, but fantastic stay with John. Very good communication all the way, and easy to find. Lovely apartment with everything we needed. And it was clean and nice everywhere. Even chocolate on the pillows🤗. We will gladly come back the next time we are in Oslo. Can really be recommended, whether it is a short or longer stay!

Diogo was an amazing host. The apartment was cozy, spotless, and warm, with soft, pampering linens that made us feel right at home. The coffee machine was a nice touch, and the space was filled with natural light, thoughtfully designed, and highly functional. Diogo was incredibly helpful with everything we needed—always offering great recommendations and doing so with a smile! The apartment truly felt like home. The location is perfect—right next to the park, well connected to public transportation, and in an artistic, vibrant neighborhood that I really enjoyed. I would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

As a Turkish couple coming to Norway for the first time, of course, the prices were high. However, Oslo is a very clean and green city and the people were friendly and helpful. We loved the opera house, a short boat trip might be nice, and the Grünerlokka area where we stayed is also a cute and bohemian place. The apartment was within walking distance of everywhere, comfortable enough for a 4-day stay. The host and her son gave a friendly welcome and guidance. Although it is in a lively area, it is located in a quiet neighborhood
