Apartment vacation rentals in Gros Islet

AnnMarie is very responsive, which important being abroad in a new place. She was very helpful and made sure i had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again and tell others to do the same. It is a central location in Castries, close to a beach and shopping. If you can get a car do so because there isnone or 2 hills to climb up, but thats nothing tonsonwith AnnMarie or her place.

Lianna's place was fantastic! Even though I only stayed a few days, she made it feel like home. She was very responsive and gave great recommendations. The place was easy to find with her clear instructions, and it was exactly as described. I'm particular about bathrooms, and this one felt like my own—clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here, and I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to St. Lucia. Totally worth it! See you again soon, Lianna 🤗

Clarence's place was well located in terms of bus stops, supermarket and two small beaches within walking distance. Both him and his wife, Margaret, were available for questions and it was great to know we could rely on them if we needed something. Margaret also kindly dropped us off at a restaurant upon our arrival as we were delayed with our ferry journey. Their place was super clean, had a lovely balcony that protected us from the rains, while offering a gorgeous view. The property is located on a busy road however, the noise was not disturbing. Also, the busy road + location meant that buses were easy to come by for trips into Rodney Bay and Gros Islet, as well as to Castries. While next time we'd probably explore another part of the island, I would recommend a stay in Clarence's place. Thank you!

Adele’s place has absolutely earned a 5 star rating. Its location is 5 minutes from Rodney Bay, where you are an Allez ride (Saint Lucia’s uber) away from food, drinks, and shopping. You’re also walking distance from the country’s main cricket stadium. I spent one of my mornings jogging around the stadium and up the steep hills close by. We were able to wash clothes everyday, which is such a luxury when you’re traveling. We also utilized her kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out for every meal. My personal favorite was the shower! There are 2 things I’d point out that could cause inconveniences for some visitors. First, there is a high up window in the bedroom that doesn’t have curtains. The sun comes up early in Saint Lucia, so if you don’t want to wake up early, you may want to look elsewhere. The neighborhood is very quiet, but there are barking dogs that may keep you up or wake you up. These were non issues for me, since I like to get up early.

Firstly, let me say Diane’s instructions on how to get the this location were clear and concise, the fast response to any inquiries were appreciated. The home was beautiful, colorful and clean. The water!!!!!! Was warm thIs the first I’ve visited an Airbnb on an island that listed hot water and it was true! lol my favorite part was shower time. The surroundings were beautiful as I could see the beautiful mountains from the home. I felt extremely safe with the gating and extra security measures. I could honestly go on and on regarding this place. However I’ll say if you plan on visiting the island of Saint Lucia don’t think twice about booking one of Diane’s locations it was worth every dollar and didn’t disappoint. Thank you Diane for being an amazing hostess ☀️

Esther was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, such a lovely lady. The place was private, secure, and located in a peaceful neighborhood. It truly exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to coming back. Thank you, Esther!

My husband and I plus friends stayed at Kareem & Shernel's lovely Airbnb while in St. Lucia. We enjoyed our stay. The space was clean, comfortable, and spacious not to mention the nice cool breeze throughout the day. We would stay again in a heartbeat. We also had the pleasure of meeting both Kareem & his lovely wife, Shernel. They are indeed a gem; such a wonderful couple. Do not hesitate to stay. You will enjoy yourselves.

We had a wonderful time at Darlene’s apartment. St. Lucia is such a friendly and welcoming place, and Darlene embodies it. The home is spotless with great amenities. Darlene was always responsive and accommodating. You definitely need a vehicle though as it is slightly outside the main areas but we know what we were getting into so it wasn’t an issue. Being close to the Daren Sammy cricket ground was a bonus and we caught a regional West Indies cricket championship game from the VIP stands no less! All in all a wonderful trip.

Great location...walk to downtown...personal checkin .. helpful security guard -they provieded some provisons...eggs, hot dogs, bacon, veggies.

will definitely do it again

Mahalia and her mother Madeleine and the rest of the family upstairs took such good care of us. My roommate and I felt like we became part of the family in the big house at the top of the hill. The 2 bedroom apartment was just what I needed for the two months I spent in St Lucia to do my remote work and take some time off with friends visiting. I had my own room, a big kitchen and a lovely terrace where we could sit and work as well. And there was type of health food Admac store not far from the place (15 min walk). I love walking and since we were a bit of a walk from Gros Islet and Rodney Bay, it compelled me to walk a lot and the many hills added some extra exercise. Once we learned how to spot the local busses, they came in handy. Going to Castries didn't take that long and we even found a local bus from Castries that took us to Soufriere. In St Lucia you can strike up a conversation with anyone, and most folks are helpful. It felt like we were locals after a while. I loved it!

This villa is exactly as pictured. It is in a great location, quiet neighborhood, extremely clean and has parking space. The host is very responsive to messages and makes herself available.

from the start to the end it was very smooth Micheal was very responsive at everything I asked and requested. such as finding the best land and sea tours etc. His father was very welcoming on arrival, it was my birthday so i was also surprised with the happy birthday sign and ballons. The area was quiet. Michael arrange our taxi guy and the rental vehicle both was very professional, helpful and nice. overall we had a very good stay at Mr. suite and I would recommend it.

My fiancé and I had a great stay. The space and amenities were just enough and just right for us. We like that we had parking and the location was pretty good. We were close to the night life of the north, bars and restaurants. and close enough to the city. The only thing is the living room area does get quite hot but with the windows open and the cross breeze from the bedroom and a decent fan it was pretty good and manageable. Mr Doodnauth was a very good host quick to respond very welcoming. I highly recommend his place and look forward to staying again. 😊

We really enjoyed our extended stay of 2 1/2 months at the apartment. The place is huge with plenty of room throughout. The kitchen was well equipped, and we could easily host dinners for up to 8 of our friends. The neighbors are very friendly and added to the enjoyment of our stay. We always try to stay in this neighborhood which is mainly single-family homes. The terrain is flat making walking to the shops and beach very easy. The bus stop is a two-minute walk away. This is the nicest apartment we have had in several years of renting in Rodney Bay, we liked it so much we have booked for another 2 1/2 months next winter. Jeannine was very responsive and answered our inquires quickly. We really can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chantel's apartment. The space was exceptionally clean and spacious, making me feel quite spoiled with two air conditioning units and two ceiling fans. The surrounding area was delightfully quiet, offering lush, green mountain views. Chantel is a remarkably helpful and kind host, responding to messages very quickly.

The location of Gedeon's place is absolutely perfect. A few minutes away from restaurants, malls and beaches. The Air bnb is clean and the surroundings is quite peaceful. The host is very responsive and helpful. Cythia made me feel right at home during my stay and was always one phone call away if I needed any assistance. The check in process was also seamless. The host even facilitated an early check in after the flight arrived earlier than the check in time. Will definitely stay with Gedeon whenever I visit St. Lucia again.

Our stay was fantastic! Quiet and beautiful location, close to town for food and drinks but far enough away that it was peaceful. We ordered some groceries ahead of time and were also able to book a fishing charter and massages in the villa. The pool was a great amenity in the Saint Lucia heat! The Sam and the onsite team were so welcoming, friendly and responsive!

Super convenient. House is at the end of the road, so no traffic. Joseph, Nadia and family are great people and were most helpful. House has off street gated parking. Got to meet the next door neighbors..... super cool people.

Alison was an amazing host. very responsive and flexible. Her listing was just as described. The surroundings were beautiful and we felt right at home! We would definitely stay here again.

Javid’s villa is beautiful and in serene surroundings. He was very helpful throughout the stay, including organizing a tour for me and helping me to get to places when I didn’t have a car. I felt very safe here being a woman on a solo trip. The town of Soufriere is at a walkable distance (although it is uphill on the way back) with shops, restaurants and plenty to see. You can also access the Touraille waterfall just across the road for free (avoiding the tour crowds) when you stay at Javid’s villa. I would recommend this accommodation to solo travelers and friends/couples (not the best for families with small kids as there is a steep drop a the river behind the pool). One recommendation I would have is stocking the unit more with kitchen supplies, including stuff for washing the dished. All in all, a great stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean. The pool was clean. All of the staff were friendly. The location is ideal since it's in the heart of Rodney Bay. I really enjoyed my stay.

What a beautiful and restful retreat! The space was bigger than expected, with a vaulted ceiling, large comfortable king bed and plenty of other seating (indoor and outside). The kitchen had everything we needed (including eggs, bread, juice and bottle water in the fridge and ready for us when we checked in). The bathroom is huge and the shower was great. The outside pool area was welcoming and refreshing and we had access to the washer and dryer, which we used several times. The location of the apt is perfect with just a short drive to beaches, Marigot Bay, grocery shopping, the St. Lucia Distillery, restaurants (The Villa was awesome!), and not too far of a drive to Castries and Rodney Bay. While the place was awesome, having Pat as our host took it to the next level. He communication was perfect, she took the time to visit us on the first nigh to make sure we had everything we needed and on the day we left provided a bottle of wine. Could not have asked for a better place to stay!
