We had a peaceful, relaxing stay! The cabin was well appointed, and Jamie was a great host, very responsive, and offering good local suggestions for things to do. We enjoyed nights by the fire, the provided grill, and movie nights. There were four of us, all adults. We were comfortable; there was a cot that one could have slept on, but he chose the couch instead. Kitchen was perfect, lots of dishes, and there was a dishwasher. I liked the porch… it was a bit cool, but we had one nice day for front porch sittin’. Long walks were nice and peaceful, good neighborhood, nice neighbors. We needed a lightbulb to be changed in a high fixture. Jamie was very quick to respond, and had “the neighborhood handyman” come to help us out. He was great also! Super friendly, and fun to talk to. Overall our stay was wonderful. Would recommend! :)

We have stayed here multiple times and plan on coming back soon. I love the peaceful outside surroundings. The deck and fire pit are my favorites but we explored the wooded area for the first time this visit and it was beautiful! We were there during severe weather and Lee Ann even offered to let us come to their basement if we were worried. I cooked several meals in the cabin and had everything I needed. She even had a coffee grinder for our coffee beans…but if you prefer pre-ground coffee or keurig, she has that too! Seriously love that this place is only 45 minutes from home but is such a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of Louisville. Thanks again, Lee Ann! We will see ya soon!

So let me tell yall…. Do not be late driving there at night lol because of the road being small and nature surrounds it. And don’t go in the snow unless you know you staying til it melts and you not driving a sport car. But to speak highly of the host Josh!!! Very attentive and when I say made sure our stay was Amazing!! I asked for a small simple favor for my hubby birthday and He made that happen!!! His place is exactly as described with all extra activities and all. But unfortunately, the weather permitted us from using it. It was definitely a home away from home coming here! From the first appearance, entry upon the home and the bed!!! I thought I would have some friends come celebrate with us but it was ok. We slept so peacefully! The bed was extremely comfortable!! This home had everything needed to enjoy our stay! Will we be back??? ABSOLUTELY!!!!! Josh kept in touch from the day before until check out! I wish I could 2000 stars because he was concerned about our safety leaving

By far the best experience renting an airbnb. The host was super friendly in cooresponding, so very helpful when I created a blunder with my reservation, and she went above and beyond to make our stay very special. I would come to Owensborok, KY just to stay at this lovely, peaceful, squeeky clean, charmingly decorated cabin. Being on the lake, watching the birds come and go was so relaxing. Great cabin, with such peaceful views/area! The cabin itself had plenty to do between all the games, pool and ping pong, which was exactly what we had in mind to stay put in order to hang out all together!! Everything was so well organized with great instructions. The kitchen and baths were well stocked which made it so easy to function as if you were in your own home!! Amanda was great and so responsive! What a hidden jewel!!

I stayed here last year with a friend. This year my wife and I stayed here. It is very remote, so bring food and drinks. The house was very clean and as advertised. The host was very responsive to our questions. The nearest place to eat (that we found) is about 25 minutes away in Lewisburg. Russellville is about 35 minutes away. Bowling Green was about 45 minutes away.
