This Dutch Colonial is THE OLDEST Small Building in Bar Harbor, built in 1850. Originally residing on Cottage Street until it was saved and moved in 2003 when condos were being built on Cottage Street. I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!

We stayed with our 2 dogs for a little over a week and we had the best time! The cleanliness of the place was absolutely impeccable, the house was spacious and had everything we needed. Lots of restaurants/coffee shops nearby and the short drive to Acadia national park and Bar Harbor was super convenient. We’d absolutely come back and would recommend Dereks place to everyone.

Great stay! The apartment was clean and the hosts were always very responsive and flexible. It was about a 10-15 drive to get into Bar Harbor so not too bad. WiFi was alright but did the job - wouldn’t be strong enough for a work from home situation, but strong enough for a vacation where we didn’t need it too often.
