This place was a truly a gem. Great yard to relax and get away from everything. Place had a comfortable and homie feel! It was clean and stocked with amenities. The location was perfect for me to explore the mid-coast area which is near and dear to me. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit the area. I throughly enjoyed my stay and would book again!

We LOVED staying in the cottage! It’s beautiful and cozy and stunning — even more amazing in person than the gorgeous photos :-) Iveta and her husband are so kind and helpful, you could not ask for more amazing hosts! Would love to stay here again.

We loved the cabin and the location. For a space that was more on the compact side, it had practically everything we needed, inside and out. We were completely charmed! Our front yard had views of Frenchman Bay. Even on a foggy overcast day, the views were beautiful (and perfect for watching horror films like The Fog and The Mist). Catherine's attention to detail were far above anything we expected (e.g., enough provisions so that we didn't have to do a grocery run after we arrived, snacks, drinks, toiletries, linens). My favorite part of the cabin? There's a little nook, underneath the stairs that could be used as another sleeping area -- so comfortable. We also loved that this place has easy access to both MDI and Schoodic. Catherine was charming and chock full of interesting facts and history about Lamoine. Our entire stay was a complete pleasure, even on rainy days, and we'll definitely be returning. A big THANK YOU to Catherine!

Colleen is a wonderful host who was kind enough to bring us a lovely breakfast, local and even treats for our pup. The view from this seaside cottage is nothing short of spectacular and you’re right on the doorstep of some of the most scenic coastlines of Acadia National Park. The cottage is rustic but we felt right at home and were so touched by all of the thoughtful extra touches like snacks, fresh cut flowers, and a fridge stocked with water, sports drinks, and cheeses. It really was a treat and we hope to return soon!

We couldn't think of a single thing to complain or dislike about this cottage. Mischele has thought of everything, every basic need, that you forget when traveling, was thought of for you. The cottage is warm and inviting and the instructions sheet for using your amenities was detailed and answered any questions we came up with. And don't get me started on the adorable coastal towns you drive though to get here, even in the off season they are bustling small towns with so much history and character. Thanks so much for such a great weekend away from our busy lives!

Cute little cabin in the woods!! Super clean, check in was very easy. Nichole was very easy to communicate with. The cabin was perfect for a quick weekend. We would definitely stay again!

Really enjoyed this cottage in Blue Hill. The owner was incredibly responsive when our plans changed so we arrived a day early, and we really appreciated his flexibility. The cottage is very peaceful and we never heard any outside noises at all. My son really liked looking for the pigs in the morning. The beds were very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The bedrooms do not technically have doors, but they’re so far apart that this was not an issue at all - they are separated by two floors.

The cottage was a lovely stay as we traveled from Acadia down to Portland! We checked in a little late, but Jennifer was super timely in responses and very accommodating. The views were spectacular and a wonderful way to wake up in the morning. 10/10 would recommend stopping by Green Tree coffee across the street on your way out. Great coffee and great service!

Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! Connor, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. You can count on us to be back in the future! Thank you!

The cabin in Penobscot was exactly what we needed for a quick trip away. Not only was it quiet and peaceful, but the cabin itself was beautiful, thoughtfully appointed, and extremely comfortable. We came up to Maine to see Acadia and Bar Harbor, and while they were a bit of a drive away, it was an easy and scenic drive. The cabin is perfect for couples and families alike, and we can’t wait to stay again in the future!

Everything was clean and exactly like the pictures. 10 out of 10 would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was super cute and had everything we needed. The location was great as well. It wasn’t too far of a drive to spend the day inAcadia. We also enjoyed visiting Deer Isle and saw an amazing sunset at Caterpillar Hill.

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful! The cabin was peaceful and had fun touches that made it a quintessential new england getaway. Far enough from Acadia that you don’t feel crowded by the tourist traffic, but the drive felt quick :) Terri even made sure there was a life vest small enough for my niece so she could enjoy swimming/kayaking with us! We will definitely be back 🩷 My only wish is that I spent more time just sitting on the porch!

what an incredible! place!! felt right at home and so safe. it was cozy with the heater since the temps were lower than expected. it was absolute perfection!! Sean and Carra sent some great recommendations, we loved Abel's Lobster! and it was such a a bonus to be on the quiet side of the island. thank you for making this the trip of a lifetime!

You won't be disappointed! The cabin is so charming and beautiful, in a beautiful setting. Everything was clean. We only regret that we had to leave early the next morning.

This was a last minute booking after a cancellation elsewhere due to the bad weather. We arrived in the afternoon after a short hike in another town. The place was as described - very cozy and clean. We had fun kayaking and fishing off the dock. Great spot for bird watching and wildlife watching, too. Very peaceful and relaxing. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Noah's home is a little slice of paradise on the coast of Maine. It's private, cozy, and surrounded by stunning nature. We found the home very clean and well-cared for. My husband, children, and I spent a week unwinding at Noah's home and only wish we could have stayed longer. We particularly loved the fireplace, well-appointed kitchen, and the kayaks. Beds were super comfortable. Views were gorgeous and location perfect jumping off point to explore nearby Blue Hill and Deer Isle/Stonington. Highly recommend visiting during autumn. We can't wait to return!

Dindy’s Room with a View is a calm retreat where you can sip your morning coffee and watch the shifting tides amidst the changing light, and if you wake early enough, the sunrise through the windows or from a bench specially placed alongside the private pier. We were charmed by the local visitors: yellow finches at the feeders, the resident fox, and a pair of mallard ducks, the male standing watch over the female as she ate, and vice versa. Getting to meet our host and share some stories was a special treat.

This place was magical, and Basha is a fantastic and informative host. It’s perfect for a getaway! But also had strong wifi :)

Beautiful space nice and private. Super close to town and eazy to find local coffee and food. Very friendly host. We will definitely be back!

We just completed our second summer and are still in awe of everything this property has to offer. From the amenities inside to water accessibility, access to many fabulous restaurants, and complete silence from every corner of the property, this house on this island gives you everything you could ever hope for in a summer retreat. George is a fantastic host, extremely responsive, and always willing to help. The property is well-kept, and the house is clean and full of additional supplies. You can't look for much more than what this property offers.

The house was cozy and comfortable with all amenities we could need. The kitchen was huge and had a ton of pots and pans and every implement and accessory we could possibly want. We loved the living room, which was filled with books and music, and an invitation from RIch to listen to/read whatever we liked. We also loved the quiet surroundings. It was lovely and peaceful. I would definitely recommend the property and the owner.

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

Spent a relaxing long weekend at the cabin. Idyllic location right on the water with plenty to do outside. We enjoyed making fires, fishing, and exploring in the canoe. Inside, the cabin was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. Camden is nearby for a nice dinner or a stroll and shopping downtown. Acadia is also close enough for a day trip. Checkin/checkout was very straightforward, and the host was helpful and quick to answer any questions. Hope to visit again!
