Vacation rentals with a kayak in Great Smoky Mountains

The Host is great and very responsive and helpful. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at her property and would highly recommend it to have a family vacation here. The view is beautiful as well.

Awesome spot right on the water with a private deck and wonderful views. The house was more than accommodating. We cooked all of our meals in the ample kitchen, slept well in comfy beds, and each had our own bathrooms. The screened in porch was the best part. There were also lots of boats, floats, chairs, etc. for the lake... a definite bonus. Will definitely keep this on our list of Santeetlah houses to return to.

Becky was a great host and answered every question we asked promptly. The check in was easy and the house had every item you needed in the kitchen. Along with plenty of towels for the bathrooms. The house was right on the water with a dock. I would definitely book from Becky again.

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

This is the kind of place AirBnb was made for. Such a homey space with unique style and personal touches. We enjoyed disconnecting and relaxing inside and out during our stay. The place was well kepted and well equipped for a laid-back long weekend. It was clearing kept clean and tidy but it did have a strong musty smell when we arrived. It mostly aired out after a day with the windows open, but I have to warn others as I know it can be a big issue for some. However, my husband, pups, and I wouldn't pass up the chance to stay again when we want to visit Lake Fontana.

Kelly was an outstanding host - the communication was proactive and so helpful with great recommendations and ways to make our stay easy. The home is beautiful with great views, conveniently located to cashiers, local marina, and a short drive to highlands. We loved it!

Loved the place and it was fairly easy to find. I had no issues the entire time. It was exactly where I needed to be and it was nice that the checkin was flexible because we didn't hit as much traffic as we thought we would on the way up there and got in a few hours early.

Just spent 6 days at Jason's place and it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful enjoyed the lake. Spent with my husband's family and brought the dogs who enjoyed swimming! Definitely wld come back.. He also was very responsive to any and all my questions ahead of time and during our stay.

This place is a great location , stocked well and can walk to everything in town . Communicate great . We were in town for a wedding at Village on Green -so easy to get to everything.

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

This was our second time staying at this beautiful lakefront home, and it’s our favorite home on Lake Santeetlah. The location is unbeatable. It’s tucked into a quiet, peaceful cove that feels like your own private slice of the lake. The home is incredibly well thought out. It’s comfortably and stylishly furnished inside and stocked with everything you need to enjoy the lake: kayaks, paddleboards, floats, and more. Inside is also thoughtfully furnished with everything you might need. We especially loved the new screened-in porch. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee, reading, afternoon rainstorms, dinner, or just soaking in the view without bugs. You can really feel the care and intention in this home. Every stay has been relaxing, easy, and memorable. Thank you for sharing this slice of heaven with us! We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Really enjoyed our stay. Beds were super comfy. The house is spacious and the kitchen is one of the best stocked I've experienced in an Airbnb. Loved the screened in porch where I enjoyed my morning coffee by the fire table and watching the deer. Also enjoyed the fire ring near the end of the drive and a wonderful spacious piece of property. Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the National Park are only about an hours drive. Most definitely would stay here again. It did not disappoint.

Second time!! We love having lake access and such a beautiful view. Our sunset Saturday night was spectacular! With older family members, we appreciate having a very level entry with kitchen, living room, screen porch, and a Queen bed all on the main level. We also loved the water time with the paddle boards and kayaks. Easy living!! Lake Santeetlah is a Travel and Leisure top 11 most beautiful lakes in the country. So pristine and peaceful!

This property had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The hot tub was fabulous after a long day of hiking or walking in town. There were so many extras not listed - coffee, creamer, spices, and snacks in the kitchen; shampoo, conditioner, hand soap in the bathrooms; laundry detergent and cleaning supplies. It was wonderful to arrive late at night and have a few comfort items to make it until the next morning. The beds were comfy with extra linens and plenty of towels in the bath. We loved our quiet evenings spent in the game room and around the fire pit. If you’re considering this property, just book it!

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

Our stay at Jeffrey’s Yourcation home was wonderful for our extended family weekend at Dollywood. Don’t hesitate to book this property. Large enough that we enjoyed our privacy with a kitchen that was the heart of the home. Well appointed with anything you need plus some. Pots and pans are stainless so don’t worry about scratched coatings. Kurig and trad coffee pot with enough coffee to get you started. Loads of seasonings too. The decks were superb, we had a 2yo and three dogs and felt comfortable with their safety as decks are accessible from inside only so no undue escapes. Jeffrey is a responsive host and available to answer any questions at a moments notice. A couple mattresses could use an update but all in all everyone slept well and loved the home. Our group ranged from 2 to 68 plus three dogs. A good time was had by all. Thanks Jeffrey.

Wonderful time in this home, tons of space and close to everything downtown. Lovely location with a peaceful dock to sit out for coffee. Home was comfortable and everything was as described. Thanks again!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. The view was breathtaking and exactly as pictured in the listing. Cody was easy to communicate with and responsive when we had a small issue with the hot tub. We had intended to use the kayaks but found the walk to the lake much farther and steeper than we had expected and ultimately decided to pass, which was disappointing. Aside from that, our stay was great. The house was exceptionally clean and had many thoughtful touches that contributed to a positive experience. We especially loved spending mornings and evenings on the screened-in porch. The house is very close to other properties but we never felt our privacy was compromised and were not disturbed by any noise from anyone else. Overall, a great stay with a kind host. Would definitely recommend!

Mindy was very accommodating and helpful. She went out of her way to keep us posted on weather conditions heading our way. The cabin was very clean and plenty of room for three families. The teenagers loved the game room and the adults enjoyed the beautiful view and atmosphere. Will definitely stay at treehouse treasures in the future.

5 Stars – The Perfect Mountain Getaway! This Airbnb was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled right on the water, the views were absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunrise and sunset. We spent most of our time outdoors because there were so many great spots to sit, relax, and soak it all in. Whether it was sipping coffee in the morning or winding down in the evening the space always felt peaceful and private. The location was ideal—just a short drive to the entrance of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, so we were able to sightsee during the day and come back to pure comfort in the evening. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed to feel at home. The lakefront hot tub was the cherry on top 🤌🏽 If you’re looking for a serene escape with nature right at your doorstep and easy access to one of the most beautiful parks in the country, this is it. Iryna was super helpful and always kept in communication with us whenever we had a question or concern. The place is in a perfect location not too far from stores, gas stations, restaurants, and local attractions but still peacefully away from any busy-ness. It's located up top a pretty steep hill (so keep that in mind when driving) with a nice view of the surrounding hills and nature. There's so much to do near the area, and the house had plenty of entertainment of its own for those lazy-stay-at-home-days. It also came well equipped with everything one would need to get by so no need to worry about overpacking. There is not much to complain about, and everything felt clean enough for the most part. It is spacious for bigger families which is a plus. A couple of minor improvements could be taken into consideration. Overall, this place is definitely worth the stay and we really enjoyed our time here. It was a true blessing!
