The Riverside Retreat has lots of space for big groups, and it would be a good deal if your group is indeed large. For a smaller family (4), and it being wintertime, we didn't feel like we got as much bang for our buck. That said, the surroundings are lovely, and the back porch area as well as the dock and all the water toys (kayaks, peddle boat, etc.) would be super fun in warmer, drier weather.

Great location! We were able to boat to both Trident and Duncan Bridge Marinas. The views were gorgeous. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and perfect for 6 adults (3 couples). Of note there were only 2.5 baths not 3.5 as listed. The two queen rooms share a Jack n’ Jill bathroom.

Everything about this stay is what we needed. It was a peaceful, unplugged getaway for me and my wife. The cabin was perfect. We hiked, kayaked, played cards, board games, laughed, connected, cooked, and just enjoyed relaxing in nature. The hosts were wonderful and we have already booked another stay for our anniversary.

I highly recommend this host and their lovely home. We had everything we could ever need for a relaxing vacation. The property was beautiful inside and out, clean, the beds were comfortable, and it has anything you might need to cook a meal in the kitchen. We loved the fire pit and hanging out on the back porch and the dock. We are so thankful we could include our pup on this trip. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here on your next trip!

We had a great time at this little cabin by the lake. It was very peaceful . We enjoyed the kayakes and spending time in the water and on the dock. We used the grill for Easter dinner. This house has a fully stocked kitchen making the preparation of meals easy. Very clean. we also enjoyed dinner at the Trident Marina. It was nice to sit outside with our fur babies and enjoy dinner.

We stayed a week with our 2 dogs, meeting our son and his family there. The kids loved our water activities at the dock. They had no difficulty negotiating the steps or the paved trail. The house accommodated our 7 really well. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, fire pit and the views from the house and decks.

I highly recommend staying at this lake house. If you are looking for a place to relax and have all the things you need to have a wonderful time then this is the place for you. Will’s hospitality and communication was the best I’ve ever experienced with an AIRBNB stay. The pictures of the home look amazing online but when you get to the lake house it is even more beautiful.

#1 on our list of most comfortable and cozy homes we’ve stayed in. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and serene. Neighbors but with enough trees to ensure privacy. Host was very proactive and helpful. *caveat, there is no “close” grocery store, etc. so stop on your way in to get what you want. Easy access to water, fire pit was a hit with the s’mores crowd. We would definitely book again when called back to the area.
