Riverside Retreat - Waterfront!

The Riverside Retreat has lots of space for big groups, and it would be a good deal if your group is indeed large. For a smaller family (4), and it being wintertime, we didn't feel like we got as much bang for our buck. That said, the surroundings are lovely, and the back porch area as well as the dock and all the water toys (kayaks, peddle boat, etc.) would be super fun in warmer, drier weather.

Great location! We were able to boat to both Trident and Duncan Bridge Marinas. The views were gorgeous. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and perfect for 6 adults (3 couples). Of note there were only 2.5 baths not 3.5 as listed. The two queen rooms share a Jack n’ Jill bathroom.

Everything about this stay is what we needed. It was a peaceful, unplugged getaway for me and my wife. The cabin was perfect. We hiked, kayaked, played cards, board games, laughed, connected, cooked, and just enjoyed relaxing in nature. The hosts were wonderful and we have already booked another stay for our anniversary.

We had a great time at this little cabin by the lake. It was very peaceful . We enjoyed the kayakes and spending time in the water and on the dock. We used the grill for Easter dinner. This house has a fully stocked kitchen making the preparation of meals easy. Very clean. we also enjoyed dinner at the Trident Marina. It was nice to sit outside with our fur babies and enjoy dinner.

I like to look at water and this place was perfect! Beautiful, wide water view from every single room in the house! Several dif places outside to sit and enjoy too. It was so peaceful and calming. Would love to go again when it’s a little warmer so we could enjoy the water and all they have to offer. House was clean. Bed was very comfortable. They even provided sunscreen, beach towels, chairs on the dock and more.

Wonderful place to relax! The home is beautifully decorated and well equipped for a comfortable stay! Downstairs room is perfect for my teenagers And plenty of comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy the views and scenery! We will definitely be back! I was looking for a place close to the grandview hospital and for that, Clint’s place suited me perfectly. It was a quick 5 mins drive. They had a gym that was perfect. The apt had all the amenities and wake up Birmingham are quite responsive to any questions and ready to help. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. We stayed for a month and had enough linen and all the utensils needed for cooking everyday. The beds are comfortable and it’s a great place. I only have one recommendation. If the garage fob can be placed along with the apt key in the lockbox it would be easier to just enter the garage with the car once retrieved.

#1 on our list of most comfortable and cozy homes we’ve stayed in. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and serene. Neighbors but with enough trees to ensure privacy. Host was very proactive and helpful. *caveat, there is no “close” grocery store, etc. so stop on your way in to get what you want. Easy access to water, fire pit was a hit with the s’mores crowd. We would definitely book again when called back to the area.

This was lovely home with all the amenities! I mean they even had cleaning supplies! Enough space for my family and they enjoy the games during our down time! We had a death in the family and Christian was so understanding with my mishaps with the reservation and check out time. I really needed that being I was so beyond out of it due to the sudden news. Easy to find location, quiet and peaceful! I could go on and on but I would highly recommend this house! Thanks again Christian we will definitely be back if you will have us!

We had the best time. We went mid October. The weather was fantastic. Chilly a night but beautiful sunny days. Our family had so much fun. We enjoyed evenings on the patio. Spent every night in the sunroom. The house was so comfortable. Felt like home. The huge front yard was awesome for the kids to play and run. It was exactly as described. Well it was actually better. We would stay again and again. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Was in town for a bass tournament on Smith Lake. I had my boat with me and this place was great for a fisherman or a family. Great parking situation with access to electricity for charging batteries. The farm and pond were very cool and the house was clean and well equipped with everything a person needs. Will be staying here again when I am fishing smith.

Kari’s place is awesome. We stayed there for a fishing tournament. There was plenty of room to park truck and boat in driveway. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a place to stay on the water!

I highly recommend staying at this lake house. If you are looking for a place to relax and have all the things you need to have a wonderful time then this is the place for you. Will’s hospitality and communication was the best I’ve ever experienced with an AIRBNB stay. The pictures of the home look amazing online but when you get to the lake house it is even more beautiful.

The vacation was beautiful. We loved just hanging out on the dock and kayaking up and down the lake. We enjoyed fishing and playing pool. We loved it so much that we spent the majority at the house hanging out on the dock. Laura was friendly, prompt in responses, and helpful.

Dinner with a View!

The place was perfect for our large family. We had plenty of room to spread out. It was a cold weekend but there was plenty to do with multiple indoor and outdoor TV's to watch the ballgames, ample grill space. wood and gas outdoor fire places. The kids loved the hot tub. We all loved the decks and heaters. My 8 yo grandson promptly caught a nice bass off the deck even though we did not fish very long.
