The is is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here, my son says it’s a “tradition”. The space was great to hangout with older kids, everyone has space yet we’re all still together. A perfect home base for exploring as well.

Another very enjoyable stay - this was our second time here. The views are so beautiful and can't be beat! We love watching the trains, barges and all of the river wildlife. This time we saw eagles fishing and the sand hill cranes were back in the area. There is a nice trail along the river within walking distance. We also enjoyed a fire the first evening. We are hoping to return again!

This is a lovely place for a getaway. Very cozy on chilly days when we were there, and beautiful outdoor space when it warmed up. We loved the variety of wildlife to watch and listen to along the river and watching the tug boat moving barges across the way.

Such a beating and amazing space. It was perfect for what my boyfriend and no were looking for. The house was so beautifully decorated and it felt so clean and comfortable. I absolutely loved the mattress, it made me search for one of my own. I really loved our stay here and if we are ever in the area, I would stay again in a heartbeat

As the person who always beelines for the binder of local information and reads it cover to cover when staying at an Airbnb, this place was a dream! I learned so much about the area from Anita’s historical writing and plethora of brochures. I will definitely be back thanks to Anita’s hospitality and the cozy feel of the place. The perfect location to explore nearby parks with great bluff views and visit all the local small businesses!

We decided to spend the weekend in SW Wisconsin and stumbled upon this place. how lucky we were. Amazing value for such a lovely place. Upon entering the house there was a refreshing smell that my wife shared was knowing the place was recently cleaned. Instructions were clear but more than that the hosts always promptly responded to our queries, we're super helpful and proactive. The place was great in a very secluded area. we took walks at night and never encountered anyone but felt extremely safe. The facilities had everything we needed and more. highly recommend this place and plan on coming back later in the summer

We had a wonderful few days visiting western WI and coming home to such a beautiful, peaceful, homey place was icing on the cake. Spent nights looking at the bright, bright stars, exploring along the river and fires in the pit. Easy to get to Potosi, Dickeyville, Cassville, and Prairie du Chein. Couldn't have asked for a better place or stay!!

This is our second time staying here, works out perfect for us to stay while visiting family, and its pet friendly so we can bring our dog, its right on the river, great views and we can walk practically everywhere. Has become our go-to when visiting.

Absolutely wonderful apartment; clean, homey, well-stocked, and comfortable. Not to mention, we would come back for the shower alone! A few things of note, there is no designated parking, only street parking (but we never had an issue finding a spot). Also, there are two different apartments above the restaurant so we had some confusion figuring out which door to go to upon check in. Overall, an excellent stay that I’d definitely recommend!

Cindy's place was amazing! The location was right on the river with a beautiful view from the patio. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and historic! This was our second time at the den and just like last time, it was amazing. The location was so close to family in a nearby town and the fact that they are dog friendly is such a plus for us! The place was absolutely spotless and having a washer and dryer was helpful too! The farm is peaceful and getting to see the animals right outside the doorstep was such a cool experience. The owners of this home are so kind and take such good care of the property. Thank you again for having us!

The apartment had everything we needed. It was very clean. We walked to many great downtown locations for eating, tap rooms, shopping and sight seeing. We will definitely stay here again

Just returned from a girls weekend at Becwar House. John was very responsive and helpful. His home was absolutely beautiful, well stocked and felt like home. This place is beautiful, peaceful, great location and very CLEAN! Great location. Don’t let the location of the train scare you. I’m a light sleeper and it was actually soothing. Best 2 nights sleep I’ve had in a while. Beds are very supportive and comfortable. Will definitely be back!

R-Lodge Getaway!

From the second we walked into R lodge we felt right at home. It has all the amenities, the hot tub is amazing. Everything in town is adorable and easy to walk to. We had a wonderful time and will be back soon.
