Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Grant County

David's lovely log home is just great and in a beautiful location. The 4 BR home was perfect for our three family vacation. The game room was wonderful for our kids on the trip. The kitchen was very well stocked with all we needed to make our one meals for five of the six nights. Plenty of refrigerator space and storage. Lots of seating for sharing meals. We wanted so badly to use the kayaks, but the weather was just too cold and windy. Next time. We did let the kids play in the yard and enjoy the dock area. There are two decks/patios and plenty of room to sit. We just felt right at home in the log/lodge/bear decorated home. We enjoyed the Ark Encounter that is only 15 minutes away two days, and we went to the Creation Museum that is only 30 minutes away. There's a Wallmart, Duncan Donuts, Spirits Shop and a Cracker Barrell close. The only thing that would make it better is a washer & dryer. David was very responsive to texts, and helpful with suggestions. Would go back!

Justin was responsive. We had a tornado warning and the neighbor was very helpful. Nice clean place, beds were comfy so was the couch, quiet rd, Close to the ark Hot tub was nice to!

We stayed for a week in this beautiful cabin for Spring Break. The cabin was spacious yet quant and had all the amenities we needed. Check in was a breeze and Jenifer was fantastic at communicating. This cabin is about 10 minutes from the Ark. 45 minutes from the Creation Museum, 45 minutes from Cincinnati and 2 hours from Marengo Cave. The bed was the best we experienced at any Airbnb. We will happily return again.

One of the best Air Bnb’s we’ve ever stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot! Quiet neighborhood near everything we wanted to see and needed to pick up. Spacious and super clean. Wish we had more time to take a walk around the lake on the trail, but we had a long drive back. Very lovely place!

The cabin is absolutely adorable and perfect for our anniversary trip. It made our visit to The Ark Encounter a memorable one. It was easy to find. The drive to the cabin was spectacular, the rolling hills and winding road made for a gorgeous view. It was easily accessible, clean & pretty peaceful. With all the amenities we needed including games. Thank you

Tonya was an AMAZING host! Her place is just as described, and she was extremely friendly, helpful and thoughtful. We stayed in early April right after it had been raining heavily for a few days, so sadly we weren't able to enjoy all the amenities she had to offer as much as we wanted, plus the pool wasn't open yet. The first day we arrived; we did go on the kayaks for a bit, but it was short lived because it was too cold, the second day was super windy and colder than we had expected, which prevented us from being able to do much outside, (but we ended up visiting the Creation Museum that day anyways, and then the ARK the following morning; both were 5 stars!) but unfortunately we had to cut our trip short, so i paid for 3 nights and ended up only staying 2, and couldn't really enjoy the added amenities due to weather while we were there, so I wouldn't give the experience 5 stars, but I do give Tonya and her place 5 stars b/c everything was exactly as described. :) Thank You Tonya

Close to everything was a great place to stay for visiting The Ark Encounter! It's walking distance to the downtown area where there are a couple restaurants and shops. There are sidewalks too to make it easy. Katie is very responsive and answered all of my questions before we booked this home. If a morning walk is your thing, there's a great walking path to get in that exercise. The home was VERY spacious! The common areas offered plenty of room for my girl group to move around in. The kitchen had pots and pans as well as dining ware for our dinners in the home. The couches and chairs were comfy in the living area and offered plenty of seating for everyone. Each one of us in my girl group really enjoyed this home and we've already booked a second stay for our visit next year! If you're thinking about booking this home, do it! You'll have yourself a cozy spot to relax in when you're not out exploring the area.

We very much enjoyed our stay! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The house was beautiful.
