House vacation rentals in Grand Ridge

This home made my family and I feel like we were back at our own home. The backyard is perfect for family with plenty of space to run around and play games. Our favorite room was the 4 seasons room! This is the perfect getaway home for a peaceful time.

Great place for multiples families with kids. The layout was perfect. Kids were happy, and parents were able to relax.

Richard's place was great and as described. We will stay there again when in the area.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sarah’s Farmhouse. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Both Sarah and Maxwell were very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

I booked the house for 6 adults and we were very satisfied with our stay. The house was nice and comfortable for all of us. The kitchen/living room were fantastic and offered a great place for us all to hang out. The house and surroundings were relaxing and we enjoyed the hot tub and the fishing dock. We saw a lot of wildlife and enjoyed a nice walks around the lake. Olena was nice and responsive and we'd rent from her again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood with lovely views of the river. Everything we needed was provided and we liked the layout of the house. Regarding sleeping accommodations, there are beds for 6 people (2 queens with twin bunks above each) and additional sleeping options are provided via a pull-out sofa and 2 futons.

This is a great weekend getaway for friends or family! Michelle was a great host by checking in with me during the first couple hours of our stay making sure that we were satisfied with everything. We had zero problems with the state of the house, pool, and hot tub. Our stay was great!

Absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. Well-maintained, relaxing, soothing, and just all around beautiful. Hope to visit again.

Me and my husband had an amazing experience at Kathryn’s place, it was a perfect getaway from the work and city hustle . Check-in was super easy, place super clean and cozy, perfect for a short-term getaway. Super convenient location and great atmosphere overall! Very cute, clean and comfortable! Had everything we needed. Love the location-very close to Starved Rock and Matthiessen which was our reason to be in Ottawa. Hosts sent a guide of things to do in the area and now we plan to come back! Loved the information they provided. Excellent communication and instructions. Highly recommend!

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood near downtown. I would stay there again for sure. It's an older house, but nice and roomy and complete kitchen. Nice front porch. Wifi worked great. You do need to do a bit more clean up and sheets to the laundry when leaving but then you avoid a cleaning fee- so that can be worth the effort but do leave extra ten or 15 minutes for chores at the end

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at one of Jason’s properties on the river. This one was smaller but quiet and quaint. We loved it and will stay here again! There’s a fire pit out back we used frequently and a big gorgeous covered porch out back with a big table! We had a few dinners with friends and there was plenty of room for everyone! Beds were comfy! Laundry was conveniently located in the bathroom. Love love love this place!!

Such a beautiful home with lots of privacy and a great view! The host was very accommodating and replied quickly. Great place to unplug and not too far from town. My friends and I had a great weekend!

This was one of the best stays my family and I have had! The barn itself is beautiful, but what my boys enjoyed the most was the property. We got lucky with a beautiful 50° December day. We walked the trails, threw rocks in the pond and went on scavenger hunts. Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful place in a good, safe, walkable neighborhood. I’d never been to Peoria and was very glad to find this place in Peoria Heights. It was an easy walk to breweries, restaurants, bars, etc. The house itself was terrific. Very clean, comfortable, and cozy.

We loved the place. House is big and has many rooms. Lot of games to play while staying. Location is easy to find and close to everything. Love the backyard. Would love to come back again.

We enjoyed our week stay in Lacon, IL. It is a quaint small town on the IL River. The house has 2 stories with 3 generous sized bedrooms (no TV’s) on the 2nd floor and 1 bath (bath tub/shower combo). There is plenty of closet space with shelves and hanging area (no dressers). The beds, pillows and linens are super comfy!!! There is a first floor bath with a smaller walk-in shower, as well as a wash and dryer in a large separate room which could serve as a bedroom if there was an airbed or sofa bed. The kitchen had all the amenities like a Keurig duo coffee maker, microwave deluxe gas stove, french door refrigerator, toaster, dishwasher, dishes and pots and pan. There was also an outdoor gas grill which we did not use. The back of the house features a large wood deck that is older and has a rectangular table with 6 chairs. The basement was locked and not accessible. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles if needed. The leather furniture was clean with surface scratches. Large TV with wifi.

This place has everything I was looking for. Tyler and his family met us at check in and were very friendly. My parents drove in from Arizona with their trailer and Tyler was nice enough to let them park it on the property for the duration of the stay. Even with the trailer, there was still a ton of land for their two large dogs and our little dog to run around and enjoy themselves. The hot tub and fire pit area were great and they even left a huge bundle of wood for us to use.The house was immaculate and decorated nicely. The house has a lot of history that you can read about in one section of the house. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of dishes, glasses, coffee mugs and silverware. The dishwasher made clean up easy. The dining room had a large table where we enjoyed all our family meals. There is a washer and dryer that we used while there that was very convenient. In all The whole house/land was very clean, private and spacious. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience at Sheila's airbnb! Her cabin house was beautiful and very homey. Decorated with antique furniture, quilts, & wood floors, but mixed with modern upgrades such as new bathrooms and kitchen. It was stocked with all the essentials and she responded quickly to any questions we had. It was also fun to walk down the nearby river paths and check out the local coffee shops. We definitely hope to stay there again!
