We loved the place, from the moment you enter there is private security, they are very friendly, there is space to park the vehicle, the cleanliness of the place was impeccable, you could rest without any noise, the water pressure was very good, the air conditioning cooled very well, we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The apartment is a true gem located in a safe, secure, and ideal area. It looks exactly as shown in the pictures. I did experience an issue with the hot water due to a thunderstorm that damaged the system, but it was eventually fixed. The other residents are very quiet and keep to themselves, which is perfect if you're traveling with little ones and need an early bedtime routine. Additionally, there is a visible security guard on duty at the gate 24/7. The apartment is conveniently located just 5-10 minutes from Carretera Masaya and a high-end mall called Galerías Santo Domingo. There is an abundance of food options nearby, ranging from delicious street food to upscale restaurants, all within a short drive. Finding the apartment was effortless, and the check-in process was smooth, handled directly with the security guard. Overall, I have no regrets about staying at Grethell's place. Nicaragua is a beautiful country filled with warm and loving people.

it's a beautiful oasis of nature and peace. The apartment is spacious, clean, private but with lots of natural light, the bed was comfy and the bathroom clean, the A/C worked perfectly but to be honest with such amazing weather you barely need it, the location climate is amazing. The host was friendly, gracious and welcoming, however she gave us our space while making herself available to us if needed, bottom line we felt right at home. My partner and I spent a great night there and we feel it is the perfect place for a getaway, next time we'll spend more time.

Casa Tortuga at Los Cardones Surf Camp is an absolute gem! The journey to the camp may be a bit challenging—down rural roads and off the beaten path—but the reward is unparalleled. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a tranquil paradise surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The accommodations at Casa Tortuga are charming and thoughtfully designed, with a rustic elegance that perfectly complements the beachfront setting. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to a breathtaking sunrise was magical. The surf here is world-class, with uncrowded waves suitable for all skill levels. Beyond surfing, the eco-friendly ethos of the camp, the delicious locally-sourced meals, and the opportunity to truly disconnect made this a rejuvenating retreat. If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, Casa Tortuga is well worth the journey!

Place is huge and peaceful!

Although Fernando had another guest in the small room we normally book, he graciously offered us one of his larger rooms instead. Worked-out great! We love staying at Fernando's!

Palmer was our home for 6 weeks with our 2 year old and 6 month old baby. We had an amazing time and wonderful experience! We loved the lodge down the road, the surfing and beach was amazing! We spent many hours on the beach with the children and enjoyed the peacefulness. The house is lovely! Had all the amenities to cook and care for the children. They were able to provide us with a high chair which was helpful. The third bedroom is not attached to the main house but very close, only a few steps, just something to consider if you have young children. Vanessa cared for the house during our stay, she is incredible and truly made our time wonderful. She was able to help us access things that we needed. If you plan to stay for a long time, we were able to find a company to delivery groceries from La Colonia, Mercadito Fresco, this made access to food easier with the children. We would love to return to Nicaragua and stay here again. Looking forwards to seeing new friends again one day
