Great house for a few days to relax for two. Great recreational area right on the lake, with quick access to Smoky Mountain National Park.

We enjoyed our stay at Susan’s place. Very close to downtown and lots of space.

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

Shannon was incredibly helpful, communicative, and flexible. Her place was epic, as advertised. 10/10 recommend!

Matthew’s place was very nice and cozy. Definitely one of the cleanest and best stocked cabins I have ever stayed in! We had a few hiccups in our trip (mainly issues caused by weather, nothing anyone could help). However, Matthew stayed in constant communication throughout the trip and kept us up to date with information we needed regarding the weather caused outages and the such and made sure we were taken care of. I can truly tell that he goes above and beyond for his guests. I would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Along the Little Tennessee River was very peaceful, I only wish I’d brought a fishing rod. Instructions were clear, check-in was easy, and simple requests to follow upon our leaving. You will be just outside of Franklin, NC and central to many outdoor activities and places to eat and visit. I would definitely recommend a stay here and hopefully be able to book again when I’m back in the area.

The home was exactly as described and the hosts were extremely responsive. The dock was our favorite part - it had a great view and was super comfortable. Also, the basement with foosball and ping pong was a great place to hang out. We will be back again soon!

This vacation involved checking out the area for an upcoming wedding. For the house, we wanted lots of space in the house and easy parking, bathrooms for each family group, family space to hang out, easy walking, and of course access to the lake. All of these happened plus great porch space with the firepit and also the outdoor firepit. The stairs to the lake provided a work out and planning for the day. That is the only consideration for others to be aware of, is if they have a family member that has issues with stairs. The area is beautiful and exactly what we hoped for and this home with the easy contact for any issues or questions made it a great week!

We ended up extending our stay so we spent 8 nights here in total. This is a quintessential lake house. The pictures honestly do not do it justice, the cabin is beautiful with incredible views. The gorgeous mountain/lake view was enjoyed through both the giant floor to ceiling window in the living room and from the screened in porch where we at dinner almost every night. Stephanie is an incredible hostess who has stocked the cabin with everything you need, and everything you forgot! We had the great pleasure of meeting her during our stay and she ended up volunteering to be one of the witnesses at our lake elopement, so she’s now part of some very special memories! We had a few fires in the fireplace, paddled around the lake a few times in the provided kayaks, and enjoyed hanging out on the dock w/our dogs. The internet was fast and the bed was fantastic. We’ve stayed at a handful of houses on this enchanting lake over the years and this is hands down our favorite. Do not hesitate :)

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

This lake house was so clean and comfortable! The beds, pillows, blankets, and furniture were all lounge worthy!! The house had everything you could ask for and more! There were plenty of towels, tons of lake toys, a well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of seating inside and out on the deck to enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. The setup of 2 bedrooms upstairs & 2 downstairs was great for our multi-generation vacation. We had a fantastic family vacation at Lake Santeetlah. We would definitely recommend this house and hope to stay here again the next time we make it back to our favorite lake!!

I want to give a 10-star rating, but the system only gives me five 🌟. Robin's family is very friendly and knowledgeable. We can talk about all new things together. Their dog is also very friendly and I can't let it go. There are also two cute donkeys on their farm. Every morning when I wake up, I want to say hello to them. In short, I will come here again. It is a quiet, beautiful and charming environment. I wish you all the best!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful location. We could have sat on the dock for days! The cabin was clean and kitchen was well equipped. You could easily stay here for days and never want to leave the lake!! The steps back up might be challenging but we enjoyed it and used them for a workout!

It is a beautiful location, a cozy house on the side of the river, and the groceries provided were a plus.

From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by peace, beauty, and everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable trip. The house itself is well-appointed—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to help guests unwind. We especially loved the large windows that provided stunning views of the lake at sunrise and sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed for family meals, and the living spaces were comfortable for both quiet mornings and game-filled evenings. The private access to the lake was a major highlight. Whether we were swimming, kayaking, or just sitting around the campfire, it felt like we had a little slice of heaven to ourselves. The water is calm, and the surrounding mountains add to the serenity. If you're looking for a peaceful, nature-filled retreat with all the comforts of home, this is the place.

Robin is a very nice host. She doubled check to be sure everything was ok and we didn’t need anything. The cabin is very nice, in a quiet place, very clean and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable. We loved our stay. We wanted to rest, relax and enjoy the outdoors and we had everything as expected. We are very happy with our stay, best choice ever.

We had an unforgettable week at this cabin! It was the perfect family getaway — peaceful, beautiful, and full of fun. We spent our days fishing, boating on the lake, and relaxing by the campfire each night. Our boys especially loved playing with their RC boats on the water — such a fun and unique experience for them! We made so many core memories together, and celebrating my fiances birthday here made it even more special. Thank you for sharing this amazing place with us. We’ll definitely be back!

Our family Thanksgiving vacation was enhanced by this attractive, spotlessly clean, convenient location on the banks of Lake Hiwassee. The outdoor fire pit was a real plus to our son and grandson as was the lovely living area where we sat after our Thanksgiving dinner. We really enjoyed ourselves.

When we got to the little blue cabin, we were blown away by the views. The house was amazing. With 7 guys, it was to accommodate us with no problem. Amanda and Bo were super responsive and helped in every way possible. Five star hosts. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in the mountains, this is it.

5 Stars – The Perfect Mountain Getaway! This Airbnb was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled right on the water, the views were absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunrise and sunset. We spent most of our time outdoors because there were so many great spots to sit, relax, and soak it all in. Whether it was sipping coffee in the morning or winding down in the evening the space always felt peaceful and private. The location was ideal—just a short drive to the entrance of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, so we were able to sightsee during the day and come back to pure comfort in the evening. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed to feel at home. The lakefront hot tub was the cherry on top 🤌🏽 If you’re looking for a serene escape with nature right at your doorstep and easy access to one of the most beautiful parks in the country, this is it.
