Welcome to a cozy and modern cottage in the Jämtland mountains! The cottage is within walking distance (about 10 minutes) to Gräftåvallens ski resort. At the ski resort, there is Fjällgården with a good restaurant and a small convenience store. For more downhill skiing, Bydalen is about 20 minutes by car. The cottage is located at the end of a cul-de-sac - hence some car traffic in the area. Ramp to snowmobile trail just behind the cabin. Proximity to hiking, fishing and berry picking. Swimming beach and fishing in Häggsåssjön about 7 km.

Relax in our cozy cottage. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the Fjällgården restaurant, nearby shops and lifts. Feeder line to the snowmobile trail system is at the cottage junction. You can walk to the track center in 10 minutes. Bydalen's large lift system can be reached in 20 minutes by car. There are several nice fishing waters, including Dammån and Häggsåssjön. To the lake, it is 7 km. There is a nice beach and barbecue areas. From Fjällgården, it takes 15 minutes to Kalfjället. There you can hike on marked trails and look for reindeer.

Relax in this unique and quiet accommodation. Move into the old school cafeteria where the church's students ate their school lunch in the 1940s and 1950s. The wood stove that crackles in the kitchen is the same one the lunch lady cooked lunch on. She herself lived on the upper floor and we offer her kitchen with adjacent bedroom and bathroom. Quiet and peaceful in the old timber building. Outside, you can enjoy mountain views or visit Frösön's beautiful church, which is next to the rectory where the host couple live with their dogs and cats.

Close to prepared ski trails and hiking trails 3 km away is Fjällgården with restaurant, pub, shop, slalom slope. Bydalen's nice ski paradise is only 15 km away. A stone's throw from the cottage is the mountain pasture with a troll path and fishing path for the younger ones. Large trampoline. Several barbecue areas and a large barbecue hut. Fäbodvallen is surrounded by a cozy stream and a river.

Relax, dive into the lake or why not put on cross-country skis outside the door in the winter? When Storsjön roars, you can light the fire & look out through the panoramic windows & enjoy Oviksfjällen on the horizon. Large charming holiday home on the edge of the mountain with a lovely view of the Storsjö area. In the house, there are all the amenities that make the accommodation easy and pleasant. In winter, it is a stone's throw to the ski slope and access to cross-country ski trails as well as snowmobile trails in absolute proximity. During the summer season, you can hike directly up the mountain. Bydalsfjällen is 20 minutes' drive away with a wide range of activities. After a day of activities, it's nice to relax in the Jacuzzi on the balcony.

Cottage beautifully located on a former farm. Beautiful and quiet location about 40 km southwest of Östersund. Here you are close to the mountains, forest areas and Storsjön. The farm is 600 meters from the village center with an ICA store, pastry shop, gas station, electric car charger, health center and more. At the school, there is a well-equipped playground that can be used during the summer. Kitchen, toilet, shower, sofa and a bed on the lower floor. Other bedrooms upstairs. Private patio.

It is a 7-minute drive to Åre Östersund Airport and 7 km into Östersund city center. Good bus connections are available with lines 3 and 4. The bus stop is only 100 meters from the apartment and ICA is 2.5 km away at Valla Centrum.

Our modern log house is situated right on a lakeshore. The open-concept design with lots of wood and light creates a warm, friendly atmosphere. On 85m2 you'll find panoramic windows with a fantastic view on the lake, a soap stone fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Enjoy fishing, paddling, swimming, hiking and x-country skiing right in front of your doorstep! Our neighbouring little farm with our kids, three sled dogs, three cats, a garden and chickens can induce a farm holiday experience.

Gräftåvallen

Gräftåvallen, you are already here in the mountains. Central, close to shop and restaurant. Sheets and towels are available for rent on site. Dishwasher, Shower. Hot water and heating are available. Air conditioning. Wi-Fi via fiber 500/500. TV via Chromecast. Possibility of extra beds in sofa bed. Dogs are welcome, but not in bedrooms and on the sofa. Unfortunately, no cats and rabbits due to allergies. Self check-in via key cabinet. Cleaning is not included, you do it yourself.

Large mountain cabin in an authentic Jämtland mountain environment. Ski In/Ski out in Gräftåvallens ski system and about 15 minutes to Sweden's fifth largest ski system in Bydalen and just over an hour to Sweden's best and largest ski system in Åre. In Gräftåvallen, Sweden's largest ski club is located and directly adjacent to the cabin there are 45 km of prepared ski trails. The cottage has everything needed for a ski holiday with large living areas, fireplace and sauna.
