A Peaceful Paradise: The Perfect Getaway Upon arrival, we were greeted with the delicious smell of fresh bread and freshly cooked Anzac biscuits. It's the little touches that make an experience special, and Paul and Janet have truly mastered it. This property is absolutely stunning! The studio is beautifully appointed with immaculate attention to detail throughout. The peaceful surroundings offer a perfect retreat, with private dams, beautiful walking paths, and abundant wildlife—we were delighted to spot kangaroos in the morning and evening. Paul and Janet were exceptional hosts—warm, friendly, responsive, and incredibly accommodating without being intrusive. They've created something truly special here and their passion for providing guests with a memorable experience is evident in every aspect of the property. If you're considering booking this place, don't hesitate—it's an 11/10 experience that you won't forget.

Our stay at Adam and Peps was the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in and all 5 of us agreed! It was an absolutely beautiful place with heaps of room, very clean and tidy, and the hot tub and outdoor fire pit was a highlight! The beautiful vineyard and scenery around made us not want to leave to go on the amazing hikes around the Grampians which were all a very close drive away! It was private and extremely good value. Adam was super responsive with any questions and willing to help out with suggestions if needed. We are already planning when we can come back next! Highly recommend!

I'd highly recommend Stephanie's country cottages to anyone looking for a peaceful bush getaway. A friendly and gracious host, we felt right at home straight away and the cottage was lovely and comfortable. Stayed for two nights with family as attended the red hot summer festival. Clean & comfortable space, lots of room on the couch for all of us. Comfy beds & pillows. Walkable distance to the Jockey Club (approx 20-25mins). House situated at the back, so fairly quiet. Thanks for having us & we will definitely use again in the future.

The home was very clean and tidy with great rooms for everyone, excellent heating and cooling, and it was close to the centre of Bendigo for all the beautiful parks and restaurants and other things to do. Our stay was great. Very clean and easy to get in. Had a washing machine and dryer which was extremely handy for our situation. Location wise was spot on and very useful for us as we played at QEO across the road the next day. The only thing I would say, and this isn’t a controllable factor, you can hear the night club when everything get quiet. Woke us up around 1pm when the cars were off the road, was hard to get back to sleep with the doof doof music, so if you’re light sleepers maybe stay away on a Saturday night. Was very enjoyable!

Spotlessly clean and beautifully curated, the cottage was everything we could have hoped for and more. Peaceful, comfortable and filled with thoughtful touches, it also felt private which we appreciated. The welcome bottle of fizz was very generous as were all the other amenities designed to create a feeling of home away from home. Only a five minute drive from Daylesford, the location was super convenient and easily accessible. Similarly, Heather was incredibly responsive and quick to help with local tips and suggestions. An all-round lovely stay! We hope to visit again one day soon.

Rhonda was a great host, quick to respond and her home was beautiful with lots of personal touches, loved the photo album showing the process of the home being built and the garden and outdoor area were beautiful to relax and enjoy the view. Inside was beautiful and welcoming, the coffee machine was a life saver with good quality coffee and welcoming chocolates next to a beautiful welcoming message, we will definitely return

Avue was great. It had a beautiful, roomy open plan kitchen, living & dining area and very well-appointed kitchen. The bedrooms were clean & beds were comfortable. Bathrooms also spotless & spacious. The deck area is gorgeous - we had lots of beautiful wildlife visit while we were enjoying playing cards on the outdoor dining setting. The area was really serene & the views gorgeous. It was directly across the road from the hotel and an easy 2 min drive into town. We'd def stay again, it was perfect for our girls trip.

Wow, what a house – and what a beautiful, serene setting! From the moment we arrived, all our stresses melted away. The peaceful surroundings were exactly what we needed to truly relax. That stunning bathtub was a personal highlight for me – the perfect place to soak and unwind. The kids absolutely loved the climbing wall – such a fun and unique feature, including a trampoline, there was lots for them to do that made their stay extra special. We were lucky with the weather, so we spent a lot of time outside just soaking in the tranquillity, under the grape vines. The views are truly something else. In the evening, we even managed to light the fire pit, which was a treat for us all. Matt and Hayley were wonderful to deal with – friendly, responsive, and made everything super easy. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to recharge in a gorgeous, peaceful spot – adults and kids alike. Definitely will be coming back.

lovely apartment, great kitchen with all utensils needed to cook up a meal after a day exploring. Really, I'd stay again at my earliest opportunity. My wife's brother and sister loved the kangaroos that sauntered past in the evening. Beds were clean and comfortable, bathrooms spotless.

Roberta's place is a charming cottage oasis. Set amongst a beautiful and well tended garden, it's a tranquil base to launch into everything Castlemaine has to offer. It's an easy walk to the main street and local attractions (of which there are many!), but the place itself is equipped with everything you'll need for a self contained stay too. Would definitely recommend!

My family of five had a lovely week stay at Three Acre Retreat. It was great to return after days of bush walking and exploring nature to a clean, comfortable and modern home. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching the wildlife or playing table tennis. The kitchen was stocked with all the cutlery and utensils you may need. Bedrooms were comfortable with plush/soft beds. The house would be suitable for all ages and my teenage girls and partner agreed it was a fabulous break.

The place is great to stay. Everything is clean and feels like home. The outside area was a bit in dust and we had to clean ourselves to make a bbq (which was working well). I really loved the house. We were suppose to stay for 1 more night but had a family emergency and had to vacate earlier. We’ve got 100% support front the host! I didn’t even expect but Victoria has made a refund for our vacated night even though it’s couldn’t be rent at this short notice which we really appreciated. I’m sad we couldn’t stay longer and for sure will return there again. Thanks a lot

We were lucky enough to find Mia Mia while we were waiting to move into our new house so we had a lengthy stay. It was lovely to have such a homely place that was peaceful and comfortable. Fire for the colder nights, very comfortable beds, functional bathrooms, kitchen and laundry and we particularly enjoyed all the bird life around the home. A very easy walk into town to grab the necessities, a coffee or a pub meal. Thank you so much for your hospitality Bronwyn and Kieran.

Just a perfect little place for a quick stopover, and some exciting scenery and animals to keep the kids entertained in the morning. We were greeted on arrival by the friendly old farm dog, who even checked up on us the next morning with lovely pats. The extra breakfast ammenities were lovely. Proper ground coffee to percolate and cute little cereals that the kids loved. Would recommend, especially for families like ours (2 kids; 2 and 5 years)

Janet and Andrew were both very welcoming to their property. The surroundings were beautiful and filled with spanner artwork which were fabulous to explore. The gardens were also filled with birds and we also cited llamas in the far. Overall it was a comfortable experience to stay overnight.
