Our stay at Watts House was great. It's a new-ish hostel/hotel with modern design. The modernity translates to comfort. The room we stayed (premium) was wheelchair accessible. Ana was extremely helpful and eager to answer specific questions and flexible to accommodate the time of our arrival. We'd love to come back

Ana is an amazing host! She made the check in process very easy, and gave me recommendations for where to eat and what to see in the area. The hostel is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The hostel itself is the nicest one I have ever been in. Very clean, comfortable beds, great bathroom and spacious kitchen! I will be coming back!

We loved our stay in Manteigas, and the accommodation helped a lot in this regard.

Very friendly and nice host! Met and led us right in. The condo was absolutely amazing — the interior was made with so much love; we enjoyed every room every minute of our stay. Great antique details, mirrors in each room, crispy snow-white bedlinen, all the kitchen amenities..The shop on the ground floor had interesting items such as local jams and herbal tea, wine and chocolate. Very cozy place in a good location, would recommend, would come back!

Lovely village. Good location. Very clean accommodation that looked just like the photographs. We did not meet Paulo but communication was good.

We had a great stay right in the center of Seia. It was easily walkable to the town and local grocery store. It also had great access to Serra de Estrella were the kids were able to play a bit in the snow, and come home to a warm space to heat up. The apartment was so well insulated we didn’t even need to use the provided heaters except for one right after our return from snow play.

We very much like the home, welcoming and spacious. A Liliana very friendly and responsive. Good location, clean and with everything necessary.

This is a modernised and well-equipped home near Penhas Douradas at the northern end of the Serra d'Estrela. My stay was in mid March, and the heating, a mix of electric radiators and a pellet stove, was more than enough to keep the whole house warm. The kitchen equipment includes an air fryer, microwave, induction hob, and coffee maker. You park your car outside the front door. About a kilometre from the house is the start of a popular walk along the Serra's main ridge that takes you to the 1993m summit at Torre. Just along the road from this property is a fairly expensive 4-star hotel. I'd say that Aldina's place represents better value than the hotel, and you can always go to the hotel restaurant to eat if you don't fancy cooking at home. Thanks to Aldina and her translator friend for welcoming me into the property. This is a stay I'd happily do again.

We loved Eliza’s beautiful house with its white walls contrasting beautifully with the dark wood. The art deco (I think?) furniture is so well chosen. The location is perfect- a bakery opposite, fruit and veg behind, great places to eat minutes away on foot. We loved the cafe by the stream and the restaurant with the amazing views over the valley. We did a lovely walk around Poios Brancos and then drove up to Torre. What views! Also saw booted eagles which was a plus! The kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms spotless and the upstairs dining room a lovely place to eat and play games. Highly recommended in every respect.

Very great great host very very nice personality

The original accommodation had a small water damage before we arrived. Jorge gave us the keys in a very nice house. We were not able to fully enjoy it because we only spent one night there. The icing on the cake, bathroom and toilet in the bedrooms. I highly recommend it.

Was there for one night only. The appartment is roomy, the balcony provides a great view. We did not use the kitchen but it was well equipped if we had to use it. Indoor parking space is nice.

Large, well-appointed apartment with lovely deck and views. With four rooms that have en suite bathrooms, would be great for family gatherings or large groups of friends. Clean and spacious, reliable internet. The parking in front of the building was full (only two or three spaces) so we had to park elsewhere in the neighborhood. This was not a problem for us, but it is a hilly area with narrow streets so others may want to consider this if you have a car rental and any mobility issues. Good Italian food across the street at Paço 100 Pressa was very convenient! Host was kind enough to send suggestions where could eat as we arrived on the later side. Very nice accommodation.

I had a very nice stay!

Very confortable house, with all the amneties and exactly has the pictures. The apartment was very clean and beautiful. We walked around Covilhã and managed to reach Serra da Estrela and play with the snow after a 30 minutes drive. Amazing stay and highly recommended!
