It was lovely to be right next to a river, the area is so peaceful and quiet. A perfect place to get away from eveything. During our stay Gabriel and team were very quick to respond when we had questions. We arrived in the dark and so found it a little hard to find the place and main gate but when we go it it was lovely to have the heating left on for us. So warming and welcoming - thank you!

It exceeded our expectations! Great location, very comfortable, spacious and clean home. Dona Rosário was impeccable, always helpful and very pleasant. We will certainly be back!

It is a family house, very well maintained and recovered. The house has all the conveniences and a few more. The Host ensured an excellent communication and the lady who received us (Mrs. Silvina) overflows sympathy. We were still entitled to some miminhos, which were cherry on cake. Undoubtedly of the best weekends I've ever spent. The house is super cozy, comfortable and extremely beautiful, with a touch of rustic and modern, providing a unique experience. We feel all connected with nature at the same time due to the surrounding nature of the house, which provides an incredible leisure space, making it possible to take walks along the mountain, and at the same time has wonderful landscapes to accompany our stay there, taking breakfast with a landscape to accompany it that creates unique memories. It could not be missed to give a thank you to Mrs. Paula for her kindness in expediting our arrival, facilitating not only the arrival at home, but also for waiting for our arrival at home, although the hours were not very convenient, having been at all times very helpful with everything. And to finish big, he still showed extreme sympathy to have let us out later, to arrange everything calmly. A thank you for everything......

The house is big and very charming, with beautiful old furniture, fireplaces, a big kitchen and a big garden (with orange trees and donkeys coming by). At the same time, everything has been renovated, so the bathrooms etc are very modern. There is a bakery and a small shop next door, but the village is very quiet. We really loved our stay in Joao's house - it was much more than expected and we would gladly come back one day! Thank you!

We stayed with our 2 small children (2 and 4 years) on the Quinta of Tim and Saartje. And we had such a nice time! Tim and Saartje make you comfortable during the whole stay of personal welcome, always available (by phone and physically) for questions and until waving off on departure. We felt right at home! Casa Rincon is even more spacious and fun than in the pictures, everything super clean and kitchen with all the comforts! After a good night's sleep on nice beds, we could also order delicious sandwiches for breakfast! We enjoyed the space around the property, the silence and tranquility. Our sons were able to enjoy themselves for hours on the playground equipment and in the sandbox while we could enjoy the beautiful view. Nearby, there is plenty to do. Saartje and Tim know enough about that too. You do need a car, but everything is easily accessible from Quinta da Estrela. In short, really a perfect holiday address, especially with children!

The house is as stated in the description, quite broad, good rooms, full of utensils for meals and entertainment. The house was clean and organized. The outside area is quite pleasant. The pool is fantastic and the place where the house is located is very calm and private. The contact with the host was easy and with quick response and then with the contact with Mr. Mário also - by the way always very amiable in the contacts. Excellent experience. To repeat and/or to recommend.

Excellent!! The accommodation was so complete that I was positively surprised. Nothing was missing and everything was of high quality! It's the first time I've stayed in a place where not a single thing is missing. The house is beautiful and cozy. The days we were there it rained and we couldn't do much, but we enjoyed being in that house so much that we didn't regret it. A repeat experience! I was previously contacted if we learned the time of entry to the house and when we arrived home there was a super cozy temperature in every division. Linda made a point of leaving a basket of products from the area that were wonderful. The super-equipped kitchen, like everything needed for a stay and family and friends. The whole dwelling was well taken care of, clean and with various details that made us feel at home.
