We enjoyed our stay at Ashleys's home. It is a beautiful, peaceful and lovely location, with great proximity to Acadia National Park, Winter Harbor and the Schoodic Institute. Our family enjoyed watching the lobster boats in the morning and noodling around the peninsula. It was a very comfortable space, with a well stocked kitchen and dining area.

Seven stars out of five! We have stayed in numerous places in Maine over the years, and given a lot of five star reviews. This one surpasses them all, hence the off the charts grade. It is incredibly well provisioned, spotless, spacious, inviting, and has an enormous porch with a view so lovely it looks fake. You can't even hear your neighbors, let alone see them. We heard loons, crows, and one very belligerent owl, but not once did we hear our neighbors. The only way you will know the tenant is home, is that a car will park opposite on the side of the house from you. The fire pit makes it easy and convenient to host a fire, even if it is only for 45 minutes or so. Kayaks are provided along with life jackets. At night you can see millions of stars. Place is so peaceful and comfortable, we almost didn't make it into the park haha. We will definitely be back!

The location of the house was perfect for our visit to Acadia. It was very quiet and serene with beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and the fire pit at night. We highly recommended this hidden little gem.

Great stay for our family of 5 adults and 3 toddlers! Lots to do and great proximity to Acadia/Bar Harbor. House was well supplied with clear instructions. Brady also connected with us before the stay and kept in touch for anything that came up as a concern. Thank you!

Took a family trip to Acadia and this was a great place to stay. The house was very comfortable and enjoyed the on-site hiking trails and sitting down at the lake and having a wine. Appreciate the quick response from the owner when I had a question. Great getaway!!! Thank you for a memorable stay!

The lakeside cabin was just what I needed. Quiet, private, and right on the water. My dog loved running in the yard and swimming in the lake. The cabin was comfortable with all the basics, and sitting on the porch watching the water was so relaxing. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Staying at Ty's place was lovely! Beautiful kitchen, plenty of space, easy to work the appliances and the TV. Really loved that shower, beautiful pressure, and location was glorious, very close to the famous Andre the seal, whose story is really worth a watch on youtube. Ty was communicative with loads of recs, and even lent us a kayak to go out on the nearby Lily pond, very characteristically full of lilies. Would absolutely stay again!

My family loved this house. The setting was beautiful, and it had tons to keep my kids entertained (kayaks, fishing poles, indoor and outdoor games). There was also ample coffee (always a plus!) and staples for cooking. We spent a lot of time at Acadia, but rearranged some afternoons to spend more time at the house because my kids enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend!

My mother and I loved our stay at Tugwassa. When we weren’t exploring the nearby area, we spent our time looking out at the pond, enjoying the fire, and reading Mrs. Osborne’s poems! The cottage is beautifully decorated with a well-equipped kitchen. I loved taking the time to appreciate all the artwork and ornaments. Anne is very welcoming and hospitable - she has many great local recommendations and is nearby if you need any help. I’m looking forward to coming back again!

The cabin was breathtaking, with a history painted and photographed among her walls. Perfect amount of space to accommodate a family should you have one. The morning sunrise was spiritual, and humbling. Host was incredibly friendly and accommodating for our dog. Arjuna. Will absolutely be returning. Thank you for an amazing and beautiful experience.

good value, a little creepy if you're showing up at night (haunted vibes) a little damp smelling, especially in the bathroom (since it's carpeted) but the view makes up for everything. beds and sheets were all clean and comfortable upon arrival.

Absolutely loved my stay here! If you’re looking for somewhere very rural, quiet and secluded, this is a perfect place. It’s fit for one or two people, it was so incredibly cute and whimsical, definitely the best place I’ve ever stayed!

Robert was an amazing host! Super kind and helpful from the beginning till the end. The house was just perfect,so cozy, peaceful, and full of thoughtful little touches. Really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Everything was clean and cozy. Great time going through the DVDs, board games, and close access to Rockland town. This was an amazing stay and one for the scrap books!

Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! The cabin was very comfortable, quiet, and just as described. Everything you need for cooking is already there. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, wifi was amazing. We went kayaking one day and it was beautiful. There are tons of rocks just below the surface of the water near the islands but you can see them because the water is so clear. The drive to the cabin is a long gravel road and thankfully we have 4WD because it might have been harder to get up the driveway from the cabin if we didn’t. There were loons on the pond every day and night but they were fun to see and hear. We also had some hummingbirds visit the feeder at the cabin and loved watching them our whole stay. The water from the faucet is from the lake but it’s so clear you almost wouldn’t know it. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet, natural place to relax.

Spent a relaxing long weekend at the cabin. Idyllic location right on the water with plenty to do outside. We enjoyed making fires, fishing, and exploring in the canoe. Inside, the cabin was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. Camden is nearby for a nice dinner or a stroll and shopping downtown. Acadia is also close enough for a day trip. Checkin/checkout was very straightforward, and the host was helpful and quick to answer any questions. Hope to visit again!

Mandi and Michael’s place was a dream come true! Our jaws dropped the moment we stepped foot out of the car and walked the path to the cabin. As hosts, they thought of everything we could need and more. Our stay at the Happy Loon was better than we could’ve imagined. Thank you both for making our trip so magical. Beautiful and peaceful setting. We took advantage and had lobster on the picnic table overlooking the beautiful cove. Enjoyed swimming and watching sunsets. Ended up having a great dinner at Blaze. Host was so responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

Olivia was very responsive and always helpful. We used their home as a base to go to Acadia and Bar Harbor which is an easy drive. It was perfect for our father son retreat. The views from the home over the lake are beautiful and we even got to watch a sea plane land on the lake a couple of times. I would highly recommend! Thanks for the hospitality!
