Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Goughs Bay

Andrew and Annemarie's place was perfect for our girls getaway in Marysville. Their home was very clean and tidy and spacious enough for us all. Beautifully renovated home with clean lines and modern decor, comfy beds and pillows. It was quiet yet only a short walk to town, lots of private outdoor areas to sit and take in the views on the front verandah or sit by a fire out in the back courtyard. There is so much to do and so many walks ! We all loved our stay and we hope to get back to Marysville and stay here again. Thanks guys ❤️

We had such an awesome stay over the long Easter weekend. We had two toddlers who love adventureu g and playing with the toys. The kids room was great along with the very large and safe garden.

How’s the serenity? Says it all. Not only an Aussie icon movie, the house lives up to it. The Doon has been a favourite destination for decades and the Castle has been a part of it. The lake is always spectacular whether it be sunrise or sunset, on a wooden deck, with a beer, some music. Absolute perfection !! The Doon Hotel will always be a favourite!! Thank you. Suffer in your jocks! We’ll be back!!

We had a terrific weekend at Villa Costa Lotta. The wonderfully designed and thoughtfully appointed house sits on a large block with lots of spots to relax and unwind. Great communication, lots of thoughtful and useful touches. Couldn’t recommend more.

Beautiful house and landscaped gardens, surrounded by farm and grazing cattle. The house inside is very stylish and comfortable with thoughtful pieces of art and furniture, the kitchen well equipped and spacious, perfect for hosting a group. The beds are really comfortable and plenty of space to unpack belongings, including a walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom. The location of the property is close to Alexandra, which is a town which seems to have everything you need plus good coffee shops. I’d definitely recommend this place to others coming to the area.

Bonnie Doon is already a absolutely great destination & Petes hideaway particularly was the best hideaway with the lot ive ever stayed at maybe our host Ryan had much to do with that too.thanks Ryan I left you a small list off your grocery things we used & ran out off. thanks to your welcome chat. We loved out stay at Eileen's place, it was extremely spacious for 6 adult guests and we loved the back yard and deck which is where we spent most of our time. It was an extremely hot weather weekend and with no ceiling fans we did find the bedrooms quite warm and stuffy with no air flow; there was one pedestal fan in the main bedroom but it was very noisy on high, knowing the weather was going to be hot we did take one of our own. The air conditioning in the dining and kitchen area however was a godsend. We were looking forward to using the bbq for breakfast but it did not have a solid grill plate so we just cooked the eggs and bacon inside in the frypan. The location is fabulous, a very close walk to the main shopping area and the hotels where we were able to walk for dinner and lunch. Also close to the parks and river for swimming. We were in Euroa for a wedding just out of town so this was perfect accommodation for us. Would definitely stay here again. Comms with Eileen was 🙌

Russell was an amazing host! Super warm and helpful — he helped light the fire for us, brought clean towels, and even let us borrow a knife to cut chestnuts. Really appreciated his kindness. Made the whole stay extra comfy. Thanks so much!

We were met by Steve who gave us an upgrade to a better room because the first wasn’t ready. We were given free access to the property which is in a lovely setting. We would definitely recommend Debby’s for a relaxing stay.

We had such a lovely time at Marty’s Airbnb. The accommodation was beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up—every detail made us feel right at home. Meeting Marty was an absolute pleasure; he’s warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating a welcoming space for his guests. We couldn’t recommend it any more highly. We’ve stayed in numerous Airbnbs in multiple countries, and this one has topped them all. A true gem of a place—we left feeling relaxed, happy, and already talking about coming back!

We had a fabulous time at Felixa and James holiday house with our 2 kids (3 and 6). We loved exploring the crystal clear river, the hot tub, the nearby wineries/pub/parks. Theres a host of kids books, coloring, boardgames, outdoor toys. The place is spotless! Felixa is super responsiveness and friendly cant wait to book again!

It really is a magical place, ideal for relaxing and connecting with nature. In addition, it is close to Mount Buller, which is ideal for the snow season. On the other hand, the accommodation is perfect, even much more beautiful than in the photos. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it 100%.

It is an amazing cabin in a peaceful and calm farm. We love how peaceful and calm it is as this is surrounded by a sheep farm with a river just next to the cabin. The cabin is brand new built and thoughtful designed setup and furnitures. This little place is basically a paradises inspiring my dream for my retirement.

Great stay at Chris place, nice farm stay super quiet and peaceful with everything you needed, house was well equipped, A/C did the job albeit one unit for full house made sleeping in main bedroom a little warm, shower pressure good but water sort of went everywhere due to the walk in shower style- wasn’t big issue location is great just outside Strathbogie centre and highly recommend eating at Chris restaurant down the road Seven Creeks Wagyu- fantastic food and experience

Jeanne provided clean, comfortable, and welcoming space for Us. It was very enjoyable experience and peaceful location and homeowner’s responsiveness is appreciated, It's truly feels like home with all the necessary stuff were there. I'm positive to recommend Jeanne's place Anyone who wants to visit.
