Vacation at this gorgeous, custom cedar cottage mostly finished in 2013 (basement was finished later) with direct, sandy beach frontage on Lake Michigan! In addition to outstanding views of the lake, direct Lake Michigan is just off the cedar deck down the dune trail and some stone steps, an ideal location, close to Silver Lake and just under 20 min to quaint Pentwater! The pristine setting of the cottage is on a dead end, private street. No neighbors across the street - just beautiful woods!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful first getaway at Sarah’s place. The property was peaceful, private, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We had a great time visiting Na-Tah-Ka, exploring Ludington, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and more — but some of our favorite moments were just spent enjoying the quiet beauty of the property itself. We’ll definitely be back to soak in the tranquility and natural surroundings again. Sarah was a kind and responsive host, and her place is absolutely worth the stay. 🌲

We had a wonderful stay at "The Lodge." The house was really nice and clean. It was very welcoming and had everything you could think of, including anything you might have forgotten. Our favorite part was hanging out by the fire in the evening and enjoying all the stars you can see! We saw multiple shooting stars and a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Thank you so much, Lisa for letting us enjoy your home for the weekend!

Marlene's cabin was a great place for a weekend away with my girlfriend and our dog. Marlene was very friendly and responsive leading up to the stay and even more so once we were there! The location was great, just a 10 minute drive into town but we really just stayed and relaxed at the cabin because it was so peaceful and quiet. The yard was big and felt private, the cabin was well decorated with comfy couches chairs (and bed). The kitchen was small but stocked with everything you need. Plenty of outdoor seating for grilling and building a fire in the evening (plenty of firewood too!). The chicken coop in the yard was super cool, but don't worry the rooster isn't very loud and didn't bother me (and I'm an notoriously light sleeper). Marlene even left us fresh eggs every morning! Can't say enough nice things about this cabin and Marlene (and her really nice dogs). Definitely recommend this place.

My now fiancé and I stayed here during what I know now was my engagement vacation. This house is small but a perfect size for 2-3 people (sleeps 2 comfortably), genuinely our only “complaint” was that the hot water doesn’t last super long and it turns cold very fast. So just plan to take shorter showers and you’ll be perfect! Close to the beach and everything we wanted to do on our trip. All things considered like the space, price, and the quality of our stay, we would absolutely stay here again and feel like it’s the best deal a couple could find. The host responds fast and was super nice when we forgot our bedsheets at home on the other side of the state. Genuinely zero complaints and would love to stay here again.

My family and I loved the octagon house! It was secluded and felt like home. It had everything you can need in a place, including a fun game room for the kids. Definitely would recommend if your looking to get away from all the city noise. :)
