Beachfront vacation rentals in Golden beach

Very relaxing and wonderful space, I wish I was napping on the patio now.

A great ,spacious, quirky botique 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of the old city of Chania. Very clean with all the amenities, large comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The good wifi and a washing machine were crucial for us. Best of all is the location which is on a lovely, narrow pedestrian cobblestone street in the old town. Restaurants galore and a 5 minute walk to the gorgeous harbor area. Of the 3 Crete cities ,Chania Rithymno, and Herakliona, Chania was the most beautiful and well kept. The best of the 3 to use as a base(We did day trips to the other two towns.) Gannis was abroad, but his friend Christina was so nice, and helpful .She met us where we parked the car and led us through the old town to the apartment.

Words and photos cannot describe the beauty of this place. We had an absolutely magical visit. The home is comfortable and very clean and everything you need in the kitchen. Stella was the perfect host. She was so kind and thought of everything you might need. Make sure to follow her recommendations for restaurants as they were amazing. Thank you for the delicious homemade treats and a wonderful and relaxing vacation. We look forward to our return.

We loved this place. The balcony was very large with a direct view of the sea. There was a natural swimming area in front of the place that was perfect for a dip anytime. The sunsets were amazing. It is close enough to walk to the Chania city center, but a car is recommended to visit the many beaches on the island. Elpida was always available for any guidance that was needed. The place is a gem we hope to visit again!

Le logement impeccable, la proximité avec les restaurants , café aux alentours. La mer a 2min de marche. La rue est juste magnifique. Parking a 5 min a pied , gratuit de 21h a 7h du matin. Merci a Dimitris et sa femme. The apartment is perfect , proximity with restaurants and coffee places. 2min walking to the sea. The street is amazing. Car park 5min walking to the place , the car park is free 9pm to 7am (not expensive for 2hours 1.80euro). Thanks a lot to Dimitris and his wife.

Great place directly opposite the beach - fantastic if you have toddlers like us. We ended up having dinner at the restaurant next door every day because the kids could play out there while we ate. If you want to visit the most beautiful beaches on Crete, this west coast location is great (though it should be noted that the beach near the house is actually facing north, which means it is thankfully not frequented by tourists). The host is very friendly and willing to help with any issues. The airbnb was very well equipped and prepared for our visit (including items we would not ordinarily expect like fruit, cake, and even a dinner on the first night - though we obviously knew about it based on previous reviews). We would come back here in a heartbeat!

We're delighted with the stay c/o Eleni. She is attentive to the details that make you happy (little touches on arrival, enough to prepare breakfast). We loved the rooftop terrace area with views of the city and bay. We'll be back if the opportunity arises.

The host was very responsive which was greatly appreciated. Quiet neighborhood for sleeping with the windows open. Very walkable to the main port. Loved the balcony!

Extremely beautiful and friendly!

Beautiful villa in a great location. If your are stunned by the pictures, you sure will be stunned by the villa itself - it is simply a gem. It lies at the top of a hill overlooking Kissamos. If you don’t mind a short, steep walk, you can even reach the town (and a supermarket) per foot. If there is anything to criticize then it is the kitchen equipment - a few more big bowls for salad etc would be great. Ioannis is a great host, super friendly and helpful. We are definitely coming back.

This little villa was the perfect find for us! On a beautiful little cove with a beach across the street, private pool, very quiet and serene—a great hike up to a cave on the adjoining mountain, restaurants and groceries nearby, drivable to many of the islands locales—but even if you only get to nearby Chania, it’s such a charming town and well worth it. Stavros is the most gracious of hosts, very responsive and thoughtful, left us treats, kitchen was well stocked with basics, and he was full of helpful information to make our stay amazing. Wish we’d stayed here longer, honestly!!

This place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Aikaterinis apartment and we were completely satisfied. The inside provides everything what we needed. The description was absolutely accurate. The fridge is very spacious and there is a freezer as well. We cooked quite a lot therefore this was very helpful for us. The pool outside is very clean and also the temperature was perfect for the hot days in Greece. You can really relax at this place because there is not a lot of tourism at this area on Crete. Also the beach in front of the house is quite nice. We put our hammock under some trees and were watching the sunrise over Paleochora. I can totally recommend this apartment, especially for couples who want some relaxing time and together.

We had the best time staying here! The villa is beautiful, everything you need is there and it’s in the perfect location for walking to local restaurants, shops and to the beach. The bus stop to get into Chania is at the end of the road, and the bus comes every 10 minutes and is only a 10 minute journey to the old town! Couldn’t fault a thing about our stay. We will most certainly be back, thank you so much!

A great stay in a well-located spot – close to everything, yet peaceful and not too central. Situated right on the waterfront with its own sun beds. Good facilities and an apartment with a good standard made for a very pleasant stay.

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.

Everything described and shown of this property is undervaluing its delight. This is beautifully and perfectly placed in Chania. It has everything you need within the property, whether there's 1 or 5 staying. There's lots of do within easy walking distance, including the delicious Periplous restaurant down the road, the sea opposite, and that view!! --- blissfully divine perks of the location Antonis and Nikos are so helpful and considerate. From my welcoming arrival, it was a serene joy and so simply perfect I could live there. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for hosting. Είναι όμορφο

A great location right near the beach with clear views of an incredible sunset. The balcony was our favorite part but the location was great, with restaurants within seconds and the old port within a nice 15min walk along the water. Perfect. Katerina and George were amazing, easy communication and both went above and beyong welcoming us to Chania. Would highly recommend staying here if youre visiting Chania.

Karolina and Jadwiga are very pleasant hosts and communication between us was always very quick and helpful. Check-in works perfectly. However, Google Maps showed the neighboring building for us. However, the accommodation is advertised outside and that's how you find it. The accommodation itself is excellent: modern kitchen and bathrooms, beautiful rooms. And the outdoor area with sun loungers, parasols, tables, chairs, barbecue areas and beach is phenomenal! The only thing that is a bit disturbing: You are right on the main road and in the house itself you can still hear this noise well.

Kladissos apartment is a great little retreat, perfect location away from the more crowded areas of Chania, it's only a short walk to the quiet beach and only a short stroll to the old town, lighthouse and bus station. The apartment was perfect, clean, secure and fitted out with everything you need for your stay in Chania, it also boasts a well maintained garden patio area full of colour. The family were very welcoming, kind and perfect hosts for our stay in Chania, our only issue was we only stayed for 1 week but if we ever return to Chania, Kladissos will be the first place we will look to book with again. This is the accommodation I chose for sightseeing in Crete on my honeymoon. It was really the perfect place to stay. I checked in late due to a flight delay on the first day, but the host was so kind to me. The garden in the accommodation is really beautiful, well maintained, and you can meet the cats staying here. When you lower the electric blinds in the large room, the sunlight is completely blocked, so it is perfect for people who like to sleep late like me. The small room also has a comfortable bed and a spacious built-in closet, so it's a great place for anyone to stay. There is a washing machine in the bathroom, so it is good to wash wet towels and laundry after bathing. You can see the sea right in front of the accommodation, and there is a clean and beautiful beach just a short walk away. It is very suitable for tourists as it is easy to access not only small supermarkets but also restaurants where you can eat while looking at the sea. The host was really friendly and listened carefully to the necessary requirements. If I visit Crete again, I would definitely like to stay again.
