Yuri is the name of the house that has been passed down from generation to generation in our family. Enjoy a relaxing Japanese trip with just your family and friends, without having to worry about other groups, rather than just a guest house. This inn is very popular with those who are interested in traditional Japanese culture and anime lovers such as Demon Slayer and Naruto. It is an old private house, but it has been completely renovated to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. It can be used for a wide range of stays for families and groups of 1 to 10 people. Relax in the spacious tatami room overlooking the Japanese garden. The living room, which is a remodeled rice warehouse, can take you back in time 200 years. [Long-term stays] Desks, chairs and whiteboards are provided. You can also use it as a workspace. We also have discounted plans for guests staying 28 days or more.

Limited to one group per day, Guest House Agai is convenient for walking the Kumano Kodo and playing in the river. You can experience country life.

Guest House Agae is a renovated traditional house that can only accommodate one group at a time. It is in a very convenient location, about 550 m (about 7 minutes on foot) to Kumano Kodo and Kinkou Oji, a supermarket (A-COOP), a bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu), and restaurants (Shoji Teahouse and Tororo-ya). The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so we will do our best to accommodate your questions and advice about walking the Kumano Kodo, as well as pick-up and drop-off when you need it. We can also provide personal guides, so please let us know. Prices do not include meals.
