西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Koyasan Pilgrimage route／villa

Japan's tiny home in Koyaguchi offers two guest rooms, ideal for up to 4 guests, with a minimum of one group per day. An extra fee applies from the second person. Accessible via JR station with a Japan Rail Pass, it features a kitchen for self-catering and indoor bicycle storage. It’s an 8-minute drive to Natural Onsen Yunosato and a 6-minute walk to Koyaguchinoyu public bathhouse. Directions to Yunosato and to Koyaguchinoyu are available in the guidebook.

After 10 years of welcoming travellers from around the world, I wanted a new challenge and created SANRO, a beautiful little hideaway for your stay. With years of experience welcoming and providing tours for travellers, you don't even need to do advanced research about Koyasan. 奈良県十津川村に位置しながら和歌山県・三重県がすぐ隣にあり、世界遺産の熊野古道や瀞峡、玉置神社、熊野本宮大社といった観光名所をはじめ、湯ノ口温泉、川湯温泉、湯の峰温泉、十津川温泉といった温泉地からも近い場所に位置しています。階段ダンスを使ったロフトや古い芋坪を改修した地下室などがある一棟貸しの空間で、期間によってはアーティストの滞在・制作場所としても活用されます。徒歩2,3分の場所にドイツ人アーティストによる野外彫刻作品ONKAIがあり、自然とアートをお楽しみいただけます。朝食やお弁当、夕食はオプションとなり、熊野地域の野菜を使ったベジタリアン向けメニューをご用意しています。 ⚠︎川が近いことと自然に囲まれたエリアのため、暖かい時期には虫が多く、室内に侵入してくることもあります。自然豊かな場所の特性を理解した上でご予約くださいませ。 ⚠︎100年以上前に建てられた古民家を再生しており、古い材木の魅力をそのまま活用しています。ほこりなどにアレルギーがある方はご注意ください。

located on the banks of the Yoshino River in Gojo City, Nara Prefecture, surrounded by Mount Kongo and the Yoshino Mountain Range. The building is over 150years old, but It was fully renovated in 2022 and is clean. From the rooms on the west side of the facility, a view of the natural levee spreads across the windows, allowing residents to truly rest in a quiet area far removed from their daily lives.

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
