Vacation rentals in Glenormiston South

We had a great visit with our party of 9 requiring 5 bedrooms. The house is stunning. It is a 1km uphill drive on a concrete driveway, which is nerve-wrecking at first approach. Just keep going - you can't turn anyway. The House totally deserves each of the 5 stars - 5 beautiful large bedrooms all with panorama view across the ocean - incredible. The living space is massive with a great Table, sofas, decks. Bring some deck/camping chairs to sit outside. Roos everywhere and a Koala in a tree within 15 m from the house. Kitchen was very well equipped and we opted to cook most nights to maximise on the location. It is very quiet and secluded.

Best views by far of any place we've stayed in, glorious views of the sea and the bush all around. We spotted koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and many native birds near the house. The three separate living areas made this a brilliant place for a large family group as it was so quiet for sleeping and playing games separate from others when needed, but there was also a really lovely big shared living space. The local coastline is stunning, with a 5 minute drive to the coast and 10 to a good patrolled swimming beach, and scenic drives to both Lorne and Apollo Bay. Brigitte was super friendly, responsive and easy to deal with. We won't forget this unique stay.

Thank you Casey and Jessie, For letting us stay at you truly beautiful, quiet and peaceful property. It was exciting to walk in an actually see the space! Such a beautiful design and sense of space, It was just a pleasure being there and sometimes hard to even go explore the area. The sourdough at Jane Dough could be the best bread we have ever eaten. (thanks for the heads-up). We wish we were back there, hanging out with the cows, exploring the coast and watching the weather roll in from the balcony with the bubbles and chocolates. Thank you!

A really lovely stay in a beautiful home in very peaceful and quiet surroundings. We all really enjoyed our stay and wish it could have been longer!!! Would happily go back and we will certainly recommend this stay to anyone interested. Thanks Jai 😊

Had a wonderful quiet stay. Very homely and beds were super comfortable, would stay again!

Perfect location, near beach, parks, coffee shop, restaurants, deep blue spa. Walking distance to all of this. The town was probably 1.5 km from Stephanie’s home. Nearby town of Port Fairy was beautiful place to visit. Warrnambool would be a great place to holiday with the children. The house has everything. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was the same experience as the first time . It isn’t a fancy over done pretty over the top cottage where you can’t relax, it is a really neat and tidy rustic little place, lots of room for the dog to play and everything you need for a stay. Nothing is fancy but all the things you need are there and are just right. The lack of signs saying “don’t do” is such a relief. We really like staying at this little place, it is great and very relaxing.

A great stay high above Apollo Bay yet a short drive to town. Loved the wood burner in the evening and the birdsong in the morning. Pet friendly too. We’ve been before and hope to return again. Thanks Jeff!
