I'm impressed with Sarah's performance and her team; nothing matters more to me than a prompt answer from the host. We were really secure. Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

The house has amazing ocean views and the sound of the waves was a beautiful background to our stay. A few steps from the beach, we had a wonderful time.

Great place to stay, nice and quite and walking distance to Salt rock beach! really enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

What can I say except WOW! Started off the day watching the sun rise over the ocean while enjoys a wonderful cup of tea on the two chairs dedicated to Nono and Maxime. We could then walk down to Thompson Bay beach directly from the garden. When a day in the waves was over, a short walk up the steps to the outdoor shower by the pool for a quick dip then a quick braai on the amazing stainless steel braai by the pool. To end it all, going to sleep with the doors open listening to the waves crashing all night! And in the morning, Elizabeth was there to sort out our messy dishes and Russel washed off all the kids beach toys…. I can’t recommend the place enough and hope to be back next year. Thank you Denise and team, truly amazing trip xx

We had a relaxing and very comfortable stay in the Emerald Suite. The place is lovely, neat, clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped and there is more than enough space for a family of four adults and a fur baby. The estate is beautiful and the views were fantastic. Lots of walking and access to beaches was easy. Very well situated, away for all the hustle and bustle of the towns. The hosts Lucy and her husband, JP, were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. They were very thoughtful and made sure everything was just right with our stay. The Emerald Suite is a definite must for a great and pleasant getaway.

Jannes place is was perfect for myself and my 4 legged companion. We both felt right at home immediately and Janne was quite quick with responses with the very minor questions I had. Jannes place is definitely something to book if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, well kept space. Definitely keeping this listing on a short list for future Durban visits. Aleks is an awesome host, she thinks of all the small things that we will need, that's what made our stay great, we felt very much at home. What a clean and comfortable stay I had in this very special Cottage! It was immaculate, and was equipped with everything I would need for a comfortable stay. It's our 3rd stay with Natalie and we will go back again. It's really a very nice place. Natalie is a extremely responsive host and just amazing. The place itself: beautiful, piece full,to fell asleep with the calls of nightjars is also worth mentioning.

We had a great stay at Alize Beach Cottage. This pet-friendly stay was the perfect spot with our pups. The property was comfortable, and just steps from the beach. Our dogs loved the early morning beach walks to watch the sunrise with miles of unspoilt beach to ourselves. Annaleen and Howard were responsive and welcoming, providing us with all the info we needed to make the most of our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and the hosts shared all the local hangouts and hiddem gems to visit. We'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation with their pets. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
