Cottage vacation rentals in Glen Arbor Township

I booked this beautiful home after my first reservation and host cancelled on me due to the storms. Well, I can say… we are so happy with our stay. It was exactly as described and even better than expected. April really is a one of a kind host, so good that I had to take notes for my own Air bnb adventure. She thought of everything! I’ve never had a better stocked kitchen. We always cook and make a big meal and we sure did not want for anything. We were even greeted with a local baked good and extra sheets and blankets for the dogs. These hosts were the best I’ve had in Michigan, if not the whole country. I’m thankful for people who truly consider someone’s stay and thinks of it all. Thank you again to the hosts. The Cabin was spotless and one of my favorite features was the deer lights.

We had a lovely stay! The cottage was so cute and I just loved how they decorated it! We absolutely loved the hot tub and used it every day! We decided to walk down to the beach through all the snow, would love to stay in the summer when we can actually go swimming!! Ate at Peegeos twice during our stay, so close and so good, get the cheesecake! So delicious and made from scratch! We will definitely be back!

I asked my 9, 8 & 5 year old about the best part of our stay, and they all agreed that the hot tub, fire pit for s’mores and the board games were the best part. I enjoyed having a quiet space to get homework done with a view of the water. This was the perfect get away for a family of 5! We enjoyed staying inside, cooking meals & enjoying the house itself. It is beautiful inside and out, exactly like the photos and had everything we needed for our stay. We can’t wait to come back during the summer time to go out on the lake!

This cottage was perfect! It was warm, quiet, cozy and clean! The cottage had everything we needed, INCLUDING COFFEE, laundry soap, dish soap and many extras! The hot tub stayed hot even after a couple hours open in the cold. The bed and pillows were amazing. We never closed a curtain, it was so private and quiet! Would definitely stay here again!

The host was very friendly and quick responding. Location is beautiful. Cool little cabin on the lake. Very well stocked with utensils, glassware, and games.

We had a great time with family, 4 couples. The house was clean and very comfortable. The beds were cozy. Beautiful, private space right on the trails. Andreia was friendly. Very easy to check in and out. Highly recommend.

this place was a perfect getaway. the area of down town traverse city is amazing even when it’s cold out. lots of restaurants and wineries to go try. the cabin itself was super cute and cozy but still a modern finish. the hot tub was amazing and made the cabin whole. i absolutely would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to travel to traverse city.

Melanie was a fantastic host with a beautiful home. She was so very helpful in a really difficult situation. She was proactive with a lot of helpful information, responsive when we had questions, and was understanding when we had to leave early. This place would be wonderful to visit in the summer when we're on an actual vacation. Great access to the park and lake, the yard was great for our kids and dogs. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a nice small town getaway.

The cottage was perfectly appointed- the bedrooms were the perfect size and setup, the bathroom was super nice and clean, the kitchen had all the right utensils- everything worked just right! In Lake Leelenau downtown is a one minute walk from the cottage. Everything else is a short drive - the lake, Leland, Traverse and other local destinations. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Peaceful, cozy cottage with a great view of the lake and gorgeous sunsets. Outdoor space to relax and connect while enjoying a fire and the view. Warm and welcoming indoor spaces. Cottage was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants and convenient by car to great hiking as well as to all the Door County sights! Andrea was very helpful as we prepared for our trip and stayed in touch throughout to make sure we had what we needed and knew how to find local hot spots. Overall fantastic place to stay and we will be back!

Was very nice to get away and just relax. There was a storm hitting the area and very cold and windy but the home was very comfortable. Felt at home and will definitely be back over the summer!

Spider Lake Cottage is a gem! Quiet ,peaceful and beautifully decorated. Nikki has truly thought of everything to make the guests' stay PERFECT! The kitchen is well stocked. The view of the lake through the windows is so pretty. Our Lab,Louis loved watching the squirrels and chipmunks in the trees and on the ground. There were also 2 ducks that made a few visits. We came during the early spring so we used the remote controlled fireplace while we read , played games and watched TV. We enjoyed cooking, drinking wine and turning on the twinkle lights at night. We had a wonderful time in Charlevoix! The house was perfect for two people plus a dog! The backyard was amazing and private, and the location was perfect to walk downtown and through the neighborhood. Oksana was very helpful and friendly, we loved the fresh bread and eggs for breakfast, and recommendations of nearby places to go. We’re hoping to come back again. Great place!

We had a great time staying at Alissa’s. Plenty of space to hang out and enjoy the views of the beach and water. Beds and bathrooms worked great for 6 adult guests. Plus, you can’t beat the location to wine and cider tastings. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Alissa.

Our stay at the little yellow cottage was the peaceful retreat we were looking for. Cute, quirky and fun little place with all the essentials. Restful and still close to the busy happenings of Ludington. Erica was proactive and any questions that came to mind were found in the listing.

We had an amazing family vacation at the “Beach House”. My family loved this area on Long Lake. The beach is very private , and we used it everyday. The beach also has a small fire pit, with a larger fire area up by the cabin. It’s a 16 minute drive into Cheboygan. Where their are many shops, and Restaurants. Cheboygan also has a beautiful trail system, with the Trail Head right in town. Our daughter ran on this trail at least three times while we were here. Makinaw City, and the Makinaw Bridge, are only 30-35 minute’s away.

We were so pleasantly surprised by the quaint, quiet, beautiful cottage nestled in the woods amongst the surrounding homes. It was so homey, and the 3 season porch was absolutely amazing! By far, the value and location for our 3 night, 4 day getaway was wonderful and exactly as we had hoped:) Thank you so much for sharing your cottage with us, and if your looking for an amazing 5 star host and wonderful place to stay... look no further!

Probably the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. John and his wife were kind and quick to respond to our questions. While they live on the property, we did not see them at all during our stay. The water front makes it extremely enjoyable and the lake is quiet. They checked in with us and always made sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back to this rental, hopefully for longer next time!

My husband and I had a great stay here! We celebrated getting married with a minimoon trip to Door County. Had a wonderful time in the area and our place to stay was perfect! We had everything we needed and more! Matthew is very responsive when you message and he’ll message just to check in which is really nice! Overall great stay! Would definitely stay here again next visit back!

My family had never been to Door County before and we weee so glad to be able to spend time at Stonewall. So many things to do, so many kitchen amenities, we cooked dinner and breakfast and always had everything we needed. Lots of options at the coffee bar, thank you! Sometimes we wished there was a second bathroom, but that really is the only thing and I can’t complain. If I did have questions, Megan was very quick to respond and kind. The house is well maintained and the beds are comfortable. Overall it was wonderful, cozy and comfortable. The record player and fire pit helped us really enjoy our stay and relax. Thank you!
