Ðani and Valerie are great hosts who rent a unique gem: The house and surroundings are tasteful and high quality, the area is exceptionally beautiful and the small place invites you to linger. It was a very nice experience and we can wholeheartedly recommend the place.

Great location, short walk from center, but also private and quiet. Simple and clean space with everything you might need. Overall great stay.

We really enjoyed staying at Marins place. Marin is very friendly and polite. We got an upgrade as one of the flats on first floor was available. So we can not comment on this flat specifically. The house consists of four flats sharing the garden and pool. Be aware that the heating of the pool may be turned off, so if that matters to you I recommend you to ask Marin in advance. First week of October we ended up at the beach instead as the temperature in the sea was nice. The children really enjoyed cuddling with Marins small and friendly dog. Will definitely come back if we are going to Makarska again.

A wonderful host and a great place to stay!!

We had a pleasant stay in the villa. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed during this vacation. It is the perfect place to relax. The owners were very nice, very helpful, and welcomed us very warmly. Thanks to Fanica and Nenad :)

This place is amazing and so are the hosts. Soon after our arival Miljenko's parents Zdravko and Ana greeted us and showed us around. During our stay they were always available and communicative with any of our needs. They also occasionally brought us some fruits from local farmers. This unit location is excellent because it takes about 5 minutes to walk to main street and closest beach. It's very quiet and private place with nice garden. Overall, we were very pleased during our vacation here.

This is our second year in the row renting the house. We love it and hope to come back again. Mihovil is a great host. He is very helpful and generous. He bought groceries for us when we arrived late from the airport. He also made dinner for us with local delicacies. It is very easy to have contact with him. The house is very big and perfect for a large party of people. The outside area is very good for children since it is secluded. Our children had a lot of fun in the pool area. The surroundings are beautiful. The stoone beach, wich is in walking distances, was lovely. There are restaurants close by. It is perfect to be able to buy newly baked bread in the store on the ground floor of the house. We walked with our 4 and 5 year old children to the beach and town. We also took a boot trip on the river that I recommend everyone to do.

The amenities at the villa were perfect & all we could ask for as a family wanting a week to relax! The villa & grounds were well maintained & it was a great space! During the time in which we were at the Villa, the owner Kate was very attentive & helpful - their home was beautiful! Gata is a beautiful village & area of Croatia. The Villa for us was perfect in terms of location; Omiš was a 20min drive, although there is a local supermarket in Gata. We visited Dubrovnik, which took 2.5hrs & Split 40mins. Wow! What a villa! If you want a peaceful, private, idyllic setting for a holiday then look no further. The pictures simply don’t do this property justice! Petra was helpful throughout and very responsive - an amazing host! Excellent facilities including private pool and outdoor cooking area perfect for 4/5 people! A car is essential as the property is high on a mountain side, which can also attract a few clouds in the mornings - but doesn’t impact your holiday at all. Fabulous Villa, was the perfect location for relaxing and popping into Split for sightseeing. Ubers are frequent and reliable, for anytime or advanced booking, even for 6seaters. Despite a slight confusion at check in the host was very attentive and responsive and accommodating. Everything was clean and functional, and we felt comfortable and at home for the entire stay. Big plus was all the towels provided! We loved the views, and the hot tub and pool were perfection. I think it would be a bit tight for 8 adults, but for 5 it was great. The tortoise family were amazing, we loved feeding them in the morning. The surrounding town is also lovely to walk around, with a supermarket and cafe nearby. Antônios was a good restaurant for our last night. The villa is a 20min ride to Klis Fortress and 20-30 to Split. Would recommend Villa Roko again and again, it added to special memories of my milestone birthday trip with friends. Toptip: Bring mosquito deterrent/spray!

Nikola was a great host and easy to deal with. He was kind hearted and very helpful. The place was nice and the location was good (assuming you have a car since it’s about a 25min drive to Hvar). Nikola was kind enough to give my family and I an extended check out and even gave us some thank you gifts before we left. We would highly recommend his place.

We had a great stay at this place. Very good location, close to beach, shops and restaurants.

The place is better than on the pictures. Amazing view and terrace. Inside was very clean and had everything I needed, including being able to cook. The location itself is extremely peaceful which is increasingly more difficult to find these days in Croatia - yet there are good food options, wine stores (the one on the main road is my preferred), and a small grocery store (but has all the basic needs) and bakery within 1 minute. Above all what stood out is how quick Rado is to communicate and how nice and professional he is. Overall great value and exceptional stay!

I wanted to take time to think about how to review this little slice of heaven but nothing I say will do it justice. Kole and Irena’s cottage is a very special place and we feel lucky to have been able to stay there. If you are looking for somewhere to shut off from civilisation and power down, this is the place. Surrounded by nature, the only sounds you’ll hear are the wind in the trees, the water lapping at the rocks and the birds. The cottage is cosy and has everything you could need. We had a few days of cold weather but the wood burning stove kept it warm and the beds were very comfy. With the silence at night, this made for very restful nights sleep. What made our stay special, and unlike anywhere we have stayed before though, was Kole and Irena themselves. From the start when they met us with their boat, and a beautiful veggie box, it was clear that it was important to them that their guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay and we really appreciated their care and attention

We had the best Apartment in Town. The view from the terrace is amazing. All the restaurants and shops were nearby. We felt like home. The host was always available for questions or other things. We'll definitely stay here in the next year. Thank you for having us there

We, my girlfriend, I and our dog were allowed to spend 2 weeks in the accommodation. The place is quite small and you hardly have any space to store anything, but that was no problem for us. Everything was as described and clean. There was also a welcome wine. The dog could walk around on the railing without any problems, as the whole area is fenced off. The beach is a bit far away, the normal pebble beach is about 5-7 minutes away, the "dog beach" is about 7-10 minutes away. Figs, grapes, pomegranates and olives grow on the grounds of Bartul, which are very delicious. The grill invites you to great barbecue events and under the open sky you can also see the night sky very well. Overall, we can recommend the accommodation, you can relax very well and discover a lot.

Frankica's home is in a beautiful place in the middle of the olive grove. Very well-equipped and lavish views. We found everything we needed in the apartment and the hosts were kindly helpful, anything came up at any time. We were warmly welcomed, very kind, friendly and caring people. We loved the garden and the terrace, the super garden furniture and an outdoor shower with a small oasis in the heat of summer. If you're looking for a calm and private space, don't go any further!

Wonderful views and amazing house. We'll be back for sure to do next time, which was not possible due to health restrictions. All the more we were able to enjoy the wonderful accommodation;-) Barabra was very friendly and cost me things to facilitate everyday life with broken feet, as well as wine and olive oil from our own cultivation.
