Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Glasgow

This is a lovely place to stay, good walking distance to shops and a short drive into the city centre. Lovely inside the property with lots of room to make you feel right at home. I couldn’t recommend this property enough

very homely spot with plenty to do locally and easy to dine locally. One train stop from Glasgow city so ideal if you want to stay somewhere close to the city but avoid the hassle and bustle of the city. We felt right at home and worth every penny.

Kirsteen’s place was perfectly situated for us visiting with family around Glasgow. Very spacious. Bus stops were close. Some good restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Walk to park. Very friendly host just an email away when we had a problem. Thank you Kirsteen.

A lovely place to spend Christmas visiting family and our new granddaughter, Carla's home is very well appointed: we couldn't have wished for a better place to stay.

This flat is in a great location for accessing Glasgow city centre. Good bus and rail links. Check in/out was very easy and communication with the host was easy. Once inside we found it to be one of the cleanest and comfiest Airbnb’s we have stayed at. Kitchen was well stocked and a nice garden to relax in. This was a perfect place for our stay in Glasgow.

A beautiful home away from home! The perfect base to explore Glasgow — easy access to public transport, lovely walking routes, and a great way to soak up the charm of this vibrant city. We spent some spectacular days here as two families with kids aged 9 to 13, and it couldn’t have been better!

This is a great house with a large, well equipped kitchen. The owner lives nearby and was very helpful in helping us figure out how the house works, otherwise he provided all the privacy we needed. We enjoyed our conversation with him. We asked Pillow how to navigate via the local bus and they weren't able to tell us to take the 38C bus from the main bus station downtown and the house is a short walk away. It was so easy to get in and out on the bus. once we figured it out.

This is a beautiful Airbnb and was perfect for our 3 couples. Had a washing machine which we appreciated as we were at the end of our 9 day trip. There is a spiral staircase from level 1 to bedrooms which could be tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Would highly recommend and would stay there again !

First of all- we had absolutely no problems finding the key or the apartment ;-) In fact it was easy as it is near the subway and also in walking distance to Partick railway station. The area is great with lots of possibilities to eat out, nice cafès, beautiful Glasgow University, Kelvingrove Museum, Mackintosh House for those interested in art and interieur design, so overall a really good place to stay. Don't be discouraged by the old staircase (which reminded me of the turn-of-the-century-houses in Vienna), the apartment is lovely with high ceilings, well-kept and well-equipped. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you.

The reviews are true! Craig’s place did not disappoint one bit. He’s such a friendly and responsive host, heard from him within minutes anytime I messaged him, he even allowed us to check in earlier and was there on arrival to show us around the place. The place has had a beautiful refurbishment and has a lovely decor, it’s very minimalist but at the same time everything stands out. It’s got such lovely details all over the flat and is in a pristine immaculate condition, would recommend to anybody booking a trip to Glasgow and would definitely come again, I would live there if I could. It’s also only a 10 minute walk to the subway station that takes you straight into the city centre.

This was a great place to stay as it had everything you need and Steve met us and explained everything from parking, how things worked in the apartment, local amenities and how to catch a taxi. The flat is really quiet even though it is in a busy area. And next to Kelvingrove Park and museum which is fantastic for walks.

Our tenants stayed in the property over the course of the last two weeks due to an insurance claim and remedial works in their currently let property. Our tenants met Pierre who was gracious to give them a tour and make them feel welcome prior to their stay and enjoyed their stay which was clean and tidy living space.

This was perfect for what we needed, and was just as described. The hosts were very quick in their response when we needed something in the house that we couldn't find. The house was warm and cosy, plenty of crockery, and bits and pieces like tea and coffee, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and so on. A great stay. Thanks!

Could use a clothes dryer in addition to outside clothes line, due to Scottish weather. Location convenient for west end Glasgow.
