Gite du Rocher 1 – Vercors

Facing the cliffs of Presles and the cave of Choranche, the cottage is a completely independent and open apartment for 2 (or even 4) adults and a child, in this typical old farmhouse, inhabited by the owners. You have a private terrace with exceptional views, and you have free access to the large garden. Within the Regional Park, in a Natura 2000 area, the cottage has direct access to the forest. It is a very good starting point for the breathtaking Hauts Plateaux du Vercors.

The tiny house is located on the edge of a one-hectare field, in the middle of vineyards and organically cultivated agricultural land with the Diois mountains as a backdrop. It is a secluded and natural farmhouse cottage. The river is a 5-10 minute walk away, via small wild trails, crossing the Natura 2000 area. The lucky ones will be able to observe beavers, kingfishers, and white wagtails This cottage is intended for nature lovers, looking for a quiet and wild corner.

It took us 1 year of work to restore all the charm to this (very) old stone building where we took up residence, and where we reserved an independent space to create, with love, the Gîte des Nines! Opening onto a beautiful garden, the fields and mountains of Diois, this small accommodation is located in a traditional local house where the host lives. It offers a charming living room with a double bed, a single sofa bed, an equipped kitchenette as well as a shower room and separate toilet.
