A barn surrounded by woodland; there is a path down to the jetty, where it is nice to go for a swim, or you can sit by the fire pit in the woods and light an evening fire. A sleeping bag is included in your stay. You have your own bathroom with a shower inside the main house. If you need the kitchen, you are, of course, welcome to use it. In the barn, there is an electric kettle and a water jug. There is an option to use the electric grill on the veranda if you wish to prepare food there. Your four-legged friend is welcome in the barn. Sofa bed in the living room + the bed shown in the pictures.

Take a break and relax in the cabin located in the woods near the river. Listen to birdsong or enjoy a refreshing swim in the river. Although the cabin is peacefully located in the woods, it is a short drive to beautiful Sørlandsperler. The cabin is without electricity and water, but it has an outhouse. Solar panels provide power for lighting and charging of mobile phones. Otherwise, there is a gas stove and a gas refrigerator. Road all the way up to the cabin and parking on the plot. Two bedrooms with double beds in each room. Bathroom with sink and pump shower.

Egdehall

Egdehall is a beautiful place that is perfect for large groups. There are also very good hunting and fishing opportunities on Statskog's property. 400 meters to Gjerstad train station (Sørlandsbanen) 2.5 hours by car from Oslo and 1.5 hours from Kristiansand. The home has: a large kitchen, dining room, large living room, bathroom in the hallway, 18 bedrooms, and 35 beds. There is no shower/bath in the rooms, but there is one in the hallway. The standard is good. Perfect for summer trips, for example, outdoor dining area, grill area and outdoor seating.

The cabin is located right by the state forest where there may also be the possibility of big game hunting.

Sørlandshus in Gjerstad near swimming and fishing waters

I inherited Godli from an old aunt about 25 years ago. The house was built around 1950 by a local carpenter who has also made many of the furniture. We have tried to keep the slightly retro atmosphere in the house. At the same time, we are constantly making new upgrades. The electrical system on the 2nd floor has just been replaced. We use the house as a holiday home ourselves. The house is located in an open and peaceful area. There are nice places to swim just nearby, nice hiking terrain and a little half hour to drive to Risør and Kragerø

Idyllic small farm, miller's house from the 1800s

It is not far to fishing waters with the possibility to rent a boat. Great loft cabin where you can really enjoy peace and quiet. Dog allowed. Cabin has 3 bedrooms and a loft. All of the amenities are in the cabin. Refrigerator with freezer, oven, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, wifi and TV. Only 50 meters to prepared ski slopes in the winter. Many nice trips in the forest and mountains close to the cabin. There is one fantastic fishing area at Felle with nice trout to get.
