Sebastian and Gloria have a true gem in the beautiful Catalonian country. Close to beautiful Vic and amazing villages (one of the best bakery’s is just a short distance away!) this is a must-stop spot if you are coming to the area. The home and its history is magical and the rooms are so gorgeous and comfy - we cannot wait to get back there with our family. Gloria and Sebastian were the kindest hosts you could ask for - we felt like long time friends after the first meeting and their passion for their property is unmatched. I cannot recommend this home enough and we are are already dreaming of our return trip.

Todo fue fantástico. Ana fue una gran anfitriona e hizo todo muy fácil para nosotros. El lugar es increíble, se pueden recorrer los jardines y alrededores. Gracias también por el tour a la torre del reloj y por contarnos más sobre la historia de la casa. Recomiendo este lugar 100%, sin duda que volvería.

It was such an honor being able to stay in this beautiful castle. Marc & Ginny have worked hard to be stewards of this millenium-old monument & it shows throughout. Their care & attention to detail made the place feel so welcoming while also preserving its historic charm. After some travel hiccups, they still greeted us late into the night to make sure we arrived safely. Throughout our week stay there, they showed us around the property, explained its history, told stories of the area, & made us feel special. Everything about our stay was dreamy & we will surely be returning. This castle is a very magical place which deserves all the respect of its guests. To be able to stay there at all was such a pleasure & made even more so by the lovely hosts.

This is a special place. It has the perfect balance between a medieval castle and a liveable modern house. The internal spaces are fine and the external spaces are really a pleasure. The little town is beautiful and quiet, and there are so many things to do in l’Empordà. Adrià is a fantastic host - always responsive and helpful. 100% recommended

There isn’t a better villa in all of Spain. This one is close to a phenomenal winery, perfect dining, and ideal location. Waking up in the palatial home was a dream. We could t have been happier.

Joan es muy alegre. Es muy fácil entenderse con él. Montse y Diego, sus padres, viven en el castillo. Son un matrimonio genial que nos acogieron estupendamente y estuvimos muy cómodos. Conocimos a toda la familia y son muy simpáticos, educados y agradables. Viven en el piso de abajo y son los vecinos ideales. Sant Feliu de la Garriga es una fortificación medieval. Os lo recomiendo solo tener la oportunidad de vivir en un espacio tan antiguo. Es una maravilla de belleza y silencio. Todos los detalles están hechos con gracia. Nada desentona. Tiene la armonía de las cosas cuidadas con inteligencia y amor. Entras por el patio central. Es precioso, con la hiedra en sus muros. Las golondrinas anidan y vuelan en su interior. Subes al primer piso por una escalera de caracol que está al fondo del patio. Y todo lo que acarreas lo subes a casa con un sistema GENIAL de polea. El piso que alquilas es el de arriba de todo. Tiene una terraza inmensa con vistas espectaculares y con dos zonas para comer y cenar. Tres habitaciones comodísimas a las que no le faltan detalle. Han pensado en todo; guardar la ropa, colgadores detrás de las puertas, mosquiteras, contraventanas sí sois como yo que no podéis dormir si hay luz… Un salón con una mesa para comer y cenar, televisión, sofás... Cocina de gas que funciona estupendo y un baño con agua caliente y vistas espectaculares. Las vistas son espectaculares desde todas las ventanas de la casa. La casa pertenece a Viladamat que está a 5 minutos en coche. Esos 5 minutos lo cambian todo. Uno de nuestros miedos era que hiciera calor; al estar en alto siempre corre como mínimo una brisa y el interior de la casa con la estrategia de corrientes de aire y cierre de ventanas que dan al sol se mantuvo fresquita incluso los días que hubo ola de calor. La ubicación del castillo es la ideal. Las playas de Sant Martí de Empúries y San Pedro Pescador están al lado a 10 minutos en coche. Si eres andarín o ciclista, la casa está rodeada de bosque y a las espaldas del castillo tienes kilómetros de pistas y senderos para hacer largas rutas en una zona muy poco transitada y con muy pocas casas y pequeños pueblos.

We had a too short stay at Andrea & Carolinas accomodation for the amazing place it is. It is well worth a visit with great opportunities to spend the days and two very lovely hosts. Great recommendation!

We stayed here in April as a family with a 7 year old. This is not just a place to stay, it's a wonderful experience! The castle is gorgeous and has an interesting history, as we learned from Sebas on a really lovely tour. The grounds are magical, with lots to explore for our son (plus games, books and toys). Our apartment was on the first floor and looked better than in the photos. It had a lot of space, the fireplace was cozy and with separate bedrooms it's great to go with kids or two couples. The apartment is full of character, just what you'd expect from staying in a castle! Everything was clean and comfortable and Gloria and Sebas are the most welcoming and gracious hosts, always thinking of how to improve our stay and recommending places to go (we loved the short visits/hikes to the Monastery, the Minyona viewpoint and the Hermita, all with amazing views, and the 2 hour hike to the Salt de Sallent waterfall). All in all a wonderful stay, we'd love to come back in summer!

Wir haben zwei Nächte in der traumhaften Unterkunft übernachtet. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Wir wurden direkt durch das ganze Anwesen geführt. Es liegt etwas abseits wunderschön in der atemberaubenden Natur. Es gibt ein extra Gebäude mit einer wunderschönen Küche, einen großen Pool und viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Absolut ruhige Alleinlage, es ist unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen. Alexander
