At the entrance of the village, there is Suryu Cathedral, one of the first main churches in Jeolla Province and a holy place, and Geumsansa, a temple with 1,400 years of history and tradition, is located 10 minutes away by car. After visiting Geumsansa, take a stroll around Geumpyeong Reservoir and spend a relaxing time.

It takes 10 minutes to get to the Jewelry Temple with the Millennium Ginkgo Tree (natural monument) and the Unjangsan Natural Recreation Forest, respectively. The Jujacheon in front of the house is perfect for playing in the water and fishing, and the Jukcheon Ecological Park is perfect for a walk. There was a child who lived at the foot of Juk San San in Gimje. My mother passed away early, and a new mother came in. The new mother was a typical stepmother who was very harsh. One day, the father couldn't stand his new mother anymore, so he ran away from home and went to Incheon, where he became a lumber company employee. The smart boy who was quick to learn overcame all kinds of hardships and succeeded as the owner of a timber company. Many years later, the CEO who missed his hometown came down to Juksan and had an emotional reunion with his stepmother. He understood the circumstances of his new mother, who married into a poor family, and confessed that he had been mean to his son. The two embraced each other and untied the knot. The owner, who returned to Incheon, brought timber to build a four-square house and built a house for his new mother at the foot of Juksan Mountain. This is the story of Juk San Ai, built in 1906. In 2021, we remodeled and named the house 'Juk San Ai'. We invite you to Jukseon-ai, which was reborn through remodeling.
