Nowadays, the buildings of the past are disappearing and apartments and modern buildings are being built, but Hwaeng () was designed as a private stay for reflection as it was at that time. The name "Hwa-yeong" was created by comparing the flower that lives between the asphalt and concrete buildings to a flower blooming in the asphalt. In order to embody the flower that runs through Hwaeng, it is expressed concisely and clearly without losing the balance of yin and yang, and the beauty of symmetry and modernity, based on the materials that embodied the image of the Korean flower in the past. Our accommodation is located in the center of Gunsan and the largest downtown area, Sutong-dong. Therefore, the accessibility by public transportation is very good. In addition, there are various restaurants, cafes, and 24-hour convenience stores located around the accommodation. There is a large grocery store (Lotte Mart) within a 5-minute walk, so it is really good for shopping and cooking. The biggest advantage of our accommodation is that it is in a new building completed in November 2021. We are proud to have a cleaner and more stylish interior than any other accommodation in Gunsan.
