The a/c is nice and cold and the queen size bed very comfortable. A roomy bathroom to take a shower or long bath. Easily accessible and just 2 minutes off of the interstate. About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. We can always see water from our property, but the water’s edge is out past the trees. Great for a walk in the lakebed! also, please check out our neighboring property, Shades of Blue!

My place is close to Grambling State University. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the kitchen, and the coziness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Our apartment is located above a restaurant so it requires that you climb stairs and unfortunately it is not wheel chair accessible. We keep our place reasonably priced to attract folks that understand the value of a cozy home versus a hotel in the area.

Our 1 Bedroom Cabin is over the water on Lake Claiborne. Very Clean swimming area with great views of the lake. Boat ramp and dock for guest use. Can sleep up to 7 with ease. Easy to access the cabin for people who have trouble with steps. There is only one step up from ground level into the cabin.
